Great first book in this series… I’m already hooked.Now I have to admit that I think I may have read Sadie’s series in the wrong order, because having already read the New York Ruthless Series, I knew about Alejandro and his wife… but I’m really enjoying finding out about how they got together. And it’s certainly not what I expected.Alejandro Montoya is the King of LA. Powerful, ruthless and revered, he is everything you would expect a bad-boy alpha to be. There’s a deliciously devilish streak in him that keeps you constantly on edge, wondering how he’s going to react to his new wife’s little quirks. At first he’s that typical domineering bordering on tyrannical a-hole who appears to believe that the woman in his life needs to be seen and not heard. I wasn’t even sure I was going to like him, but as Alana shows him that she is nothing like the airheaded socialite that her father had portrayed her to be, he discovers that he couldn’t have been more wrong about the woman he has taken for his wife.Alana Carmichael should have been annoyed that her politician father sold her to a notorious mafia-style boss. But she was willing to make that sacrifice to save her fathers career, reputation and freedom. She marries a man she doesn’t even know as part of a business arrangement and she is determined not to allow Alejandro Montoya to break her spirit, but the more she learns about him and the more time they spend together, she finds that she cannot resist him. As soon as Alejandro sees the real Alana is not some gold digging, money grabbing materialistic bimbo he starts to realise that Alana is everything he would have wanted in a wife. Beautiful, kind, funny, caring, smart, conscientious… lovable!I get the feeling that book 2 is going to throw a few spanners in the works as the truth about Lucy comes out… and will her father allow her to just walk away knowing what she knows.Really great book. Lots of sex… and I mean… lots!! I mean, I know they’re newlyweds but wow… how on earth do they have the stamina? They’re like rabbits. Surely it’s not going to be long before we hear the pitter-patter of tiny Montoya feet!Well done Sadie. Yet another brilliant book and I can’t wait to continue the series.

Saw this book advertised on Tic Tok & holy freeking moly!!! From pg 1 all the ways to the end I devoured this book!!! Alex & Alana/princess is my book of 2022 📖❤️. Could not get enough of these 2 & best of all, it's a duet!! Alex oozes sex appeal & Alana is the lucky lady. There is ALOT of sex in these 2 bks. This is also a fantastic story. I absolutely loved Alana, she took no shite from Alex, but if she disobeyed him n anyway there was consequences 🔥🔥 which she loved & I loved to read!!! 100 ⭐️ if possible ❤️❤️

Enjoyed this book but Alejandro is a little too dark/violent for my liking. Not a fan of men 'punishing' their women. Liked Alana she is innocent and caring and happy to be her own person. But has been manipulated her whole life by her dad.

If you like a lot of smutty seens and I mean a lot this book is for you.I loved the MCs they was great together and I loved that that they had there povs but I felt the book was more about the sex rather then the story line.That dont mean I didnt like the plot it was good but felt like they could have been less smut and more plot

…but if I have to read the phrase ‘a flash of his eyebrows’ again, I may actually throw my kindle.That aside, it’s got a good balance of plot and smut. The smut is 🔥🔥🔥 and the characters are likeable.

New to Sadie Kincaids books, wasn’t sure what to expect from this mafia story but wasn’t expecting the heat, the plots and the twists. Left on a slight cliffhanger but downloaded the next one straight away as I couldn’t wait to continue. Loved everything about it even all the steamy sessions. Good to see the mafia king melting and show us he has a heart. Enjoy the Spanish dialogue too.

A great book that kept me hooked for the first half...admittedly it did get a bit boring and repetitive in the middle. The plot didn't seem to progress very quickly and a lot became very predictable.I did love the characters though, they had great chemistry and i loved seeing Alanas growth to being the queen of LA.Still lots of questions and secrets to uncover in book two but not sure if I'm hooked enough to read it.
