Wow. Fresh salmon & veggies cooked at work in under 4 minutes. What a great way to enjoy food that is steamed and healthy. So much better than frozen or the cafe. Easy clean up as well.

I bought this steamer because I don't have a full kitchen and I need more vegetables in my diet. Used today and it worked perfectly. It is a little big for my microwave but steams perfectly. I only make meals for one, so my microwave is smaller than "average" and my snap peas for one meal looked a little lonely in the steamer - but they came out perfectly & just the way I like them - hot, but not mushy. Since I was steaming a vegetable, cleaning the steamer was literally a snap. Inexpensive, easy to use, does the job.

I use this steamer often. It's easy to use and easy to clean. Size is perfect for two people to steam your favorite vegetables. I haven't used it for fish but I imagine it would be just as good. I've had multiple microwave steamers and this one is my favorite. Just a solid unit.

I’ve only cooked salmon and a few veggies with it, but it has worked well. The quality seems pretty solid too. I’ve put it in the dishwasher a few times, but I think I’ll probably just hand wash it.

Simply place your raw veggies and protein in the tray. Add water to the bottom bowl, place the lid on top, and microwave. Made with strong plastic that does not omit a smell once heated. Cooks food evenly. So simple to use. Creates a home cooked meal in minutes. Easy to clean and small enough to store. Perfect for college students who live in a dorm.

A great steamer. I use it almost daily. It can also work for growing spouts.

This is three pieces and barely fits in my microwave. I usually just want to cook one serving of vegetables, so it's really too big for that. You place water in the bottom and then put on the middle section where you place your veggies. Then you put on the cover and pop it in the microwave. Easy enough. The problem is that when cooking your vegetables, the cover forms a suction and sticks to the middle piece holding the vegetables. There's an easy way to lift that middle piece off the bottom water container, but getting the lid off the top to get to your veggies is a different story. I get burned every time. When you finally get the vegetables out, you now have these three very large pieces to wash (or at least rinse) and then put somewhere until they dry. I don't recommend this one if you want easy or single serving.

Very sturdy vegetable steamer for the microwave. Holds quite a bit of vegetables. Easy to clean.

It is very handy to use, but beware the depth is not great. You couldn't steam a whole potato without cutting it. I am cooking for one, so I find it very handy to steam veggies and such. It is a bit tricky to remove from the microwave without spilling the hot water, but you just have to be careful. Not recommended for kids or seniors with any handling hot item issues. Really easy to clean and use would recommend it with some cautions. Overall very sturdy product and well made.

El material es bueno, el plástico es de buena calidad, tiene una válvula para regular la cantidad de vapor que quieres que salga mientras cocinas, es fácil de lavar, y el tamaño es ideal para cocinar para una persona. Lo uso mucho para hacer pescado o pollo con verdura, y en menos de 10 minutos está listo con todo y preparación. Si cocinas sólo para ti o estás siguiendo algún régimen diferente al de tu familia, facilita mucho la vida. No se necesita mucha agua para cocinar, es sólo un chorrito.

I have all sorts of kitchen contraptions, and as of right now this is my favourite. Working I don’t always have the motivation to cook (or the time). This is the perfect plate size for veggies and meat servings, just add water to the base and pop it in the microwave! Easy to clean, easy to use, doesn’t take up a lot of room… and no oil needed. Would recommend. Works with fish, chicken, and all veggies.

Bought to replace a steamer we have used for 20 years. Quality looks great and we are looking forward to another 20 years of regular service.
