These are thin, single ply, very large weave fabric placemats, you can literally see thru them. I have included some pictures to show you what I mean. I would be afraid to wash them, I think they are way overpriced for what they are. They are also light yellow not white as they are presented. I’m keeping them because they are pretty much what I was looking for decoratively speaking that is, and will go well with my straw pumpkins as a table display, however i don’t feel that I could use them as they are intended to be used ( as usable placemats). I won’t be getting any more of these or this brand.

Cute runner but there's scattered light circles throughout.....look like stains I didn't see them when ordering but I'm real life thry are pretty noticeable
