I've been using and ordering these clamps off and on as needed over the years for exhaust replacements and repairs. One great thing about this style of clamp is that they physically crimp the pipes together. This makes it possible to tighten the clamp, crimp the pipes together and then you could completely remove the clamp and the pipes will remain together and sealed. Heck, I suspect a lot of these clamps rust away and most don't even notice. These are NOT stainless, they're standard steel and rust quickly. After a year or so on the exhaust, they'll be nearly impossible to remove. These are essentially cut-out clamps when it comes to replacement since it'll be a major chore to separate the pipes after clamping. All-in-all, I'll most likely continue to use these in the future but just understand what you're getting.

Nothing much more to say than they work. Converted a flanged exhaust connection with a sleeved union connection with these clamps. No leaks yet.

Clamps are good clamps. Just came badly packaged and missing parts from them. Good thing I'm a retired mechanic or I would have to send these back as being defective. Next time its the local parts store and pay double. At least I can see what I am getting
