The mug is made very sturdy. The designs are beautiful.

I have 5 Mara Stoneware mugs and love each one of them. They are large and the handle is perfect. The artwork is beautiful and I will probably buy more of them.

Yes....with hand made pottery, there is variability in glaze colors. Mine was a bit darker than pictured example.
