The Very Best Of Buck Owens, Vol.2

Just received my copy of the Very Best of Buck Owens Vol. 2".I have listened to this disc a couple of times now and I find that I enjoy this one every bit as much as Volume 1. I was listening to most of these tunes for the very first time and already I have developed a number of favorites including "Think Of Me", "Where Does The Good Times Go" and "Made In Japan". On this compilation you will find such other notables as Buck's biggest hit of all time "Love's Gonna Live Here", his #1 instrumental hit "Buckaroo" and a great live version of Chuck Berry's classic "Johnny B. Goode which was yet another #1 hit for Buck in the summer of '69. As in Volume 1 there are great liner notes and Buck himself tells a brief story about each and every tune. Buck Owens and the Buckaroos were one of the great American musical acts of the 20th century. Any serious collector should have at least one of these "Very Best Of" CDs in their library.

Real Country Music from Heaven!

Before I bought these for my uncle, I knew very little about Buck Owens. Now...I can't get enough of his music! I've been listening to vol 1 and 2 for a couple of months now and appreciate every song on these two CD's - but they have to be bought separately of course. To make matters even better, I just started watching "Hee Haw" and love it when Buck comes on and performs virtually all of these songs at one time or another during the series. Thanks Buck for all the great songs and music.

Very good cd great price thanks

I'll make this short . Unlike some CDs this one sounds like Buck and the Buckaroos did in their hey day . All these songs are great and sound like they did on the radio and live shows . Price is really great too . If you knew them or want to meet them as they were this is one to buy . You won't go wrong here .

I think this is even better than Volume 1. And both volumes are great! To me the jewel in the crown is "Made In Japan". Buck, Don, and the boys sure gave us some good material to remember them by.

This is an excellent cd. Buck Owens was pure country & had the best harmony singer country music singers ever had, the great Don Rich. To me, Buck is better to listen to than Merle Haggard. I like those Bakersfield boys! Excellent CD!

Great Cd sweet memories of my mom listening to Buck Owens and sang along to every song.
