This was a hit as a Christmas present! Our 3 year old wanted a Nerf gun and we knew it would get shot at his sister, the TV, and everything breakable so we convinced him that a popgun was cooler. It's great. It's super easy for him to do and the sound isn't too annoying because he doesn't pull it really right. It's actually louder when my husband shoots it. The cork has never hit anything even when he does it somewhat close to someone. I was worried that the rifle would be too long, but it's not. So far it is a good purchase.

Great little gun! Wood is smooth, feels sturdy, and produces a satisfying ‘POP’. I remember these things from when I was growing up, but this one is made much better, works better, and it is made in the USA!!!UPDATE: My grandson was elated to get this gun! He had just asked Santa for it on Christmas Eve...how lucky was I that he was able to bring it. It was so worth it to see the look on my Grandsons face!!!! I am so pleased with this purchase. Mom and Dad both were impressed with the quality and so am I!!!

The design is simple but works perfectly. The old saying goes, if it works don’t fix it, and there is nothing to fix with these. They are sturdy and make the most wonderful ‘pop’ sound. I doubt I will ever have to buy another, but if I do, I know where to get them!

Great little toy. I used it as a prop, because it has the old time toy look. Its better then I had expected and would make a really nice toy. I sent it off my my nephews after I was done with it and they loved it. Great for a gift, nostalgia or part of a Halloween costume.

I purchased this popgun for my four year old grandson for Christmas. He loves it! It took our family back to the good ole days when each of our sons played with popguns as children. The really awesome part about my grandson's is that not only is it handmade from wood, but the stopper looks like it will last forever..and even if it doesn't, that one part can easily be replaced. The old versions from 25 plus years ago were cork and messed up over time.. this one is perfect! It makes a great popping sound which really put a smile on my grandson's face!! This is my first review on Amazon. Since other people's opinions matter so much when I order, I figure I should put my two cents in.I'm a mom of three boys (7, 5, 3) and each of my kids got a pop gun for Christmas. I appreciate well made, wooden toys and that's exactly what they are. These guns are the right size, are sturdy, are easy to use, and have far more longevity than those little plastic toys - with none of those pesky little foam bullets to constantly pick up.Also, they're made in the US by actual people. Five stars, indeed.

Amazing toy! Any young child would be thrilled to have this, I know my son was. He especially loved the camouflage sticker that was provided to wrap around the barrel as it made him feel like a true hunter. The quality is marvelous as well, you can tell lots of love was put into it. I will definitely be buying from this company in the future and recommend them to all my friends as well.
