I cook a lot. I have very sharp knives. I'm quite careful, but the occasional slip can make a big mess out of dinner. I believe these gloves offer great protection against a slip of the blade. I normally wear a size large in gloves, that's what I ordered and they fit perfectly. They appear to have good construction, are easy enough to get on and off and will save my hands from getting any more scars from food preparation.

I am loving these gloves. I do a lot of chopping for salads, and smoothies, and in the past have had many knicks and cuts. These fit perfectly, and protect my fingers. They don't feel too heavy or cumbersome. I also use my mandoline daily, and these have protected me from the serious injuries i've sometimes gained in the past.I love them!

Got these because I've cut off my thumb tip 4 times. Wore these and cut the tip of the finger clean off. So much for protection.

These gloves come as a pair and they worked very well. In the past I have cut myself when butchering our chickens and ducks, but no more cuts since I starting using the gloves. Also, the merchandise arrived on time.

You can wear a single one of these and a fedora, and if you moon-walk down the street, old people like me will stand, stare, and clap. Actually,. If you have enough sense in how to use knives, your handle hand shouldn't ever be in danger. These have nice grip for taking onions or tomatoes well in hand. Do remember that "cut resistant" does not mean "your hand is invincible in this glove". A careless knife point can stick right into you. Or a corkscrew; Or anything else POINTY. What these gloves do is prevent a slipped knife from taking enough off of you that your next stop is the hospital for sutures and a graft prep. Actually, I wouldn't mind recommending these for learning chefs, as it teaches good grip without the scars
