Dengeki Daisy is one of the most charming shoujo mangas that I have read in many years. I love that Teru is such an emotionally mature and strong heroine, and the complexities weaved into Kurosaki's character make him more fascinating as each new volume comes out. I also enjoy the adult-to-teenager ratio amongst the main characters. Many shoujo mangas revolve solely around the teenage peer group, but Teru and Kiyoshi, though they do have their gang of high school friends, spend much of their time with Kurosaki and Co, despite the age differences. It is delightful to have a main character who is my own age (Kurosaki)! Having characters of varying ages matures Ms. Motomi's work, and opens it up to a wider target audience as well.I already own volume 7 in the original Japanese text, and am excited to read Viz's English adaptation of it! Volume 7 begins in the typical manner of the previous volumes, but swiftly brings about the beginning of the most dramatic chain of events to date in this series. By the end of the volume you will be just as swept up by emotion as Teru is. Ms. Motomi's artistic and storytelling abilities are absolutely superb, and she captures the whole emotional spectrum beautifully. I would highly recommend putting volume 8 on your pre-order list, since you will definitely be on the edge of your seat, waiting to find out what happens next!

If you have a child that loves Anime then this is the series for you. It will be hard to beat the price anywhere else. The books were pristine and came quickly. My daughter absolutely loves this series and we could not have been happier with the company. The books are beautiful and a have a great story. The price may seem high but is average for Anime.

this is by far, my favorite manga. The author knows how to increase the excitement as the story goes on. If you like non-common love stories, this one is for you!

It's a fun romantic comedy that's super cute.

Always wanted to have this collection as I'd read it online about seven times and never grew tired of it. Very pleased with how pristeen the book was and how quickly it arrived.
