Costly but worth it!
Trustworthy brand, needs no introduction. Bought it for ₹3830, substantially more expensive than my previous USB fingerprint reader from Secureye (more than 2x), but it died recently after 3 years of usage, so had to buy this. Just in case you're wondering, it costs $19 on amazon.com (US), which is roughly about ₹1600. Since it gets imported here, it becomes so expensive. Works great on my Asus VivoBook 17 running Windows 11 Home, though after plugging it in for the first time, had to restart my computer so that Windows recognizes it properly. Proper Plug and Play experience. Much better compared to the previous one, as in that case I had to go to company's website, download the drivers, install them and what not. Build quality seems pretty good. Hope it lasts much longer than the one I had before. Works well with U2F on websites. I've used it with Google. Prompt comes automatically through Windows Hello when signing in. It's Made in Taiwan. If you can, wait for some kind of sale, it can go below ₹3K.

Best Rs.3800/- ever spent!
Absolutely seamless sign in. No need to find drivers manually. Works so well that you won't even notice that it's there. More than security, i find the convenience of passwordless entry, more appealing. Doesn't work that well with slighltly damp fingers. Also, a Type C connector would have been more appropriate. The price keeps fluactuating. As of March 2025, the price has increased Rs.1000.

Great fingerprint scanner for your computer.
Good for laptops and desktops which doesn't have fingerprint scanner. It is expensive but worth it for the convenience.

Plug & play at its best!
This works like a charm on Windows 11, even with extension dongles. I have this thing hooked to an extension because I didn't want to sacrifice one USB port for this, always works like a charm and unlocks the PC in milliseconds.

Unreliable performance
Fails to work at least 50% of the time. Tried all possible fixes including driver reinstall and fingerprint reset. Works well occasionally, but not dependable. Not worth it if you need consistency.
