My Absolute Favorite Polish Soup
This makes an incredible zurek! I'd recommend it to anyone, Polish or not. It's the perfect soup to serve in a bread bowl on a rainy day.*There ARE English instructions on the back.I'd like to share how my Polish/American family prepares it: Make rosol (polish chicken stock) as a base. (I'm sure any chicken stock would do just fine.) To a cup of cold water add Adamba mix along with a dollop of sour cream. Mix it until well integrated and then add it to the soup. Add any of the following: sliced boiled egg, sauteed onion, sauteed sliced Polska kielbasa, sliced boiled carrot, and cubed boiled potatoes. I highly recommend dipping good (Polish!) bread into it.This is a very flavorful blend that creates a very tasty and filling soup. It was passed down to me from my Polish mother and grandmother. This item will absolutely be a staple in my household. Thank you for making Zurek easy to make Adamba!!

We love this soup!
I used to go to a restaurant in San Francisco called Old Krakow (West Portal... no longer there). They had a soup they called "Sourdough Soup" that I craved so often, when I moved back to Texas, I begged them for the recipe to no avail! After years of internet research, I finally found this soup package.I didn't initially have high hopes from a powdered soup, but it's so delicious! It's always in our cupboard for a quick & delicious dinner. I like to sauté a mirepoix, add potatoes & kielbasa. Topped with a little dollop of sour cream. Give it a go if this sounds like your thing!
