TRAP GOPHER DEATH-KLUTCH STEEL

Best Trap I've Used
This trap is difficult to set, but much more effective than other traps I have used over the years. For instance, gophers just push dirt and bury the Victor traps I set. In contrast, the Death-Klutch traps have less metal interference near the jaws, making it easier for the gophers to pass into the jaws and hit the trigger. The effectiveness of these traps is more than worth the trouble of learning to set them.

Instructions???
I read where this is a good gopher trap. Unfortunately, I'll never know because there's no directions how to set the dam thing!

Best trap design I've ever seen
Have killed hundreds of gophers with this brand, with an effective rate of over 90%. Most traps have a mechanism that pushes the gopher up in the air when triggered. That leads to the jaws clipping the gopher along the stomach. Now you have a gopher with a PhD in trap avoidance. This one gets its energy from the coiled spring, and doesn't try to push the gopher out of the way. Big difference.

one big gopher
I had a gopher in by front yard,Ihave a wooden trap I have used for 10 years with a 100% success rate till this gopher came along,so I went to the hardware store and got a different type after 3 months, and and dirt piles all over by yard, I was looking on the net and came acrose this one,I ordered it, the mail man droped it off at 4:oclock by 4:30 thay were in the groud,at 7: oclock the next day he was DEAD,he was so big I had to dig him and the trap out of the ground. I could not pull him out, he was one realy big gopher.I would recomend this trap ,it worked in less than 14 hours, where the other coudn't do it after more than90 day P.S. if you need it Amazon has it

The trap rusted completely after less than a month of use.
The media could not be loaded. As the title says, it rusted a lot after just a couple weeks of use. The rust causes the trap not to function properly and rendered it useless. It was triggered multiple times by pests while properly set in the ground and it still didn’t activate the trap. Just stuck open.

Best trap yet
Best trap ever. I have been chasing this gopher for about four months now using ever trap I could find. The standard green traps you find at Walmart this particular SOB kept tripping them. The black tunnel traps, well the same SOB just stuffed it with dirt. The probe traps, somehow this SOB was able to work around it without tripping it.I dig out a new mound stuff this death klutch in the hole and finally got em'!!! First time.

Bad design. It won't trigger
I've had the gopher pile dirt all the way through the trap 5 times now. The V shape trigger takes far too much effort to push back with the dirt and never triggers. The design problem is that this door rides along the spring - which isn't smooth. I've tried to make it "hair trigger" but the design simply doesn't allow one to do that. using my finger and pushing back on the V trigger and I understand why it isn't being pushed by the dirt. It takes way too much force for a gopher to push this. I just ordered the standard trap with the flat plat of metal that pushes back. They have worked for me in the past and are much more logical.

Nice design, needs to be smaller.
Neat design. It needs to be galvanized as it's already rusting. Also is too big to fit in our pocket gopher holes. Need a smaller one.
