Not sure there is a real good way to fact-check this thing unless you have a breathalyzer machine at home for some reason, but some simple math based on body-weight, amount consumed, and time since consumption makes it easy to feel comfortable when this says you are in the clear. There are several brands of these test strips and we've had most of them. At the time I purchased these they were the most economical option and worked well. Be sure to follow the directions and watch the timer because you can get false readings if you let it set too long or too short. Common sense is really all that is needed, but these strips do add a second layer of assurance and for that it's worth the cost.

Cheaper and works just as good as any other test kit. Not sure what the point of the levels are if there isn't a recommended 'okay' level. Does the light blue mean okay to use? If blue at all, don't use the milk? Why the different levels?! I have probably dumped perfectly fine milk based on this shade difference, but better safe than sorry.

These are great if you want to be a normal adult and have that glass of wine with dinner but you aren't sure if your baby will get a taste of it. I have done a few experiments and I think they are pretty accurate. Saves me from pumping and dumping when I don't have to over a glass of wine and we all know breast milk really is like liquid gold!

It works really well. I have used it twice. First time with just a shiner. Didn't think it worked so dunked it in alcohol. It works. Second time I had a lot of apothic red wine (best brand ever) and it told me I had alcohol in my milk. Took forever to filter. So this stuff works and it's cheaper than that other brand with what 10 dumb strips.

I lcan be the scale printed on the back of each testing strip package indicating how much alcohol is present at the time of testing. This way I can plan for pulling frozen milk from storage without wasting any, - and I can return to nursing without worry. This product is also very inexpensive compared to the other brands I've used in the past.

I bought these test strips mainly to check if the articles that I read were correct about how alcohol effects your milk. They were very easy to use and fast and accurate! 😊 There were several different brands when I bought these. These were the strips that gave you more bang for your buck. I will be purchasing more in the future!! 😊

I actually really like these. They are cheaper than some of the brands and more to a pack. I like how it gives you ranges. Even though I just need to know whether I have any alcohol in my system, it's nice to have a little more detail.
