It was a little hard to put together at first but once you figure it out they work great!

They tore apart easily...before I got them on the dogs. But they were as described and the dogs didn’t mind the hats because they got cheese pizza.

I did not read the reviews prior to purchasing these and wish I had. Oh, I so wish I had. The hats are not easy to bend into shape and for me, require tape to hold into place. My best hat looked banged up slightly from the back. My worse one had a smashed top and looked like someone sat on it. The fun of the party will be laughing at the hats. While the colors are bold, the cheap cardboard doesn't conform to its shape and it's obnoxious.

Overall these hats are easy to put together and are very colorful and look good in photos. They are a bit filmsy and tricky to put together at first. I used tape to hold them together to make it stronger and it worked out good.

The hats are very cute and colorful, good size for adults. However, building them is not very effective. They tear very easily when you try to put everything in the correct place. Definitely would just recommend taping them together rather than fitting the slots.

The positive is these are printed vibrantly as shown in the photo-the negative is they are virtually impossible to put together-they arrive Daly-they bend and tear as your placing the tabs into the slots-and then you have to tie the elastic into tabs-no way could I recommend these-ridiculous for the money-

You need to put these together- but they’re great! After putting a couple together, you just need to take your time putting them together. A total of 30 seconds for each one. I put 24 of these together and it got therapeutic because it’s the same motion over and over again. I even tied the strings on all of them.If you’re going to order them online, no bother going to the store, this is what you get. If you think putting these together is going to be too tedious, go buy them at a store already put together. You only save money on these if you’re ordering online- definitely on the expensive side for Amazon purchases- didn’t expect these to cost so much considering you have to put them together yourself.With that said- they’re pretty cute! A couple color variations.

I’ve seen some comments saying “if I would have known we had to put them together ourselves I wouldn’t have wasted time on it”. Honestly, if you can’t take a couple minutes putting these together, I’m questioning why you’re even wasting time looking for party hats in the first place… they literally take less than a minute to assemble. You poke one side of the paper through the slit in the other side, and tie on the string. I don’t like how the back sticks out, but at least it doesn’t come apart. Plus, they’re cheap party hats what more do you expect?
