I love the soup but have to give it up.
For years my brothers and I have made this soup a staple of our fall reunion. In the last couple years it has been really hard to find in local stores. I bought these in desperation. The quality was good and the taste just like it used to be. BUT the cost?!!!! We ended up having a pea soup "bake off" to find something else we could buy. Goodbye Habitat after decades we simply can't countenance this type of price.

ST. FELIX
Pretty expensive, however my father is French Canadian from St. FELIX & it reminds him of his mother's pea soup.

Love this soup
The cans are huge! Wish they had smaller cans. Can’t get habitant pea soup locally so was glad to be able to get it on Amazon.

Sappy review ahead!
This was my dad's favorite comfort food as a young person. When he was in his late fifties he got cancer and all he wanted was Habitant soup. Unfortunately, living on the West Coast you can't find it in stores. When we realized we could order it off Amazon he was thrilled. He died five years ago, and so to remember him I take a can of Habitant with me to Burning Man every year. We eat it with a grilled cheese on the night of the temple burn in his honor. This year I was able to pass the tradition onto another friend and my husband's oldest son, who also camped with us. I may be biased, because it reminds me of my dad, but this soup is delicious. I would also recommend making it from scratch if you're into cooking, as it is just amazing to enjoy in the Winter, fresh off the stove.
