This works well over the top of my mattress protector so I don't get too hot at night. Nice, soft fabric and fits well.

So, it’s hard to find an all cotton mattress protector. I started off looking for an organic one. What few I could find were way out of my budget. So I decided to look for regular cotton. Wow, still hard! A lot of protectors advertise that they’re cotton but the batting is polyester. So I found this. I read a review that the batting is only 95% cotton and 5% “other”. This didn’t bother me that much, but I also thought maybe that reviewer was wrong and they were reading about the side part which has some spandex in it so it will wrap around the mattress. Anyway, as for performance, it fits well, and I have room to spare if I decide to add a topper to my mattress at some point. Besides wanting a natural fiber, I picked cotton because it breathes better. My husband gets hot easily and I even noticed it’s much cooler and doesn’t hold in the heat like our old protector did (which had a polyurethane backing and a terry cloth top). This is so much nicer! It is nice, thick, and comfy, yet breathable and cooling. So, I think it’s a great protector, affordable, well made, and just what I was looking for. But I docked a point for being a little misleading regarding the batting. Here’s a photo to be more clear on what parts are made of what.

In my 40 years of different mattress pads, this one is the best. Why, because it's cotton. And it is extremely difficult finding a cotton pad. All the others I've had, they are made of polyester. They never fit properly because polyester is slippery material and the pad and sheet are moving around. With this one being cotton, the pad and sheet are firmly on. No moving around at all.

I was so pleased that a lot of good reviews were positive and many people said the mattress pad was exactly what they were looking for. I feel the same way! It did come in a real small box, as mentioned, which could be a little scary and I’m glad that many people mentioned that. I let the wash machine and dryer fluff it out and it came out perfect! I do recommend following the directions and drying it on the delicate cycle. It took running it twice like that but it dried beautifully. The depth of my twin mattress is 15 inches and it fit the mattress perfectly and I feel it would have accommodated a mattress that was a couple inches thicker.It doesn’t claim to be waterproof, but it does claim to be quiet and comfortable which it is. I didn’t want to deal with the noise or the sweating that some of waterproof or water resistant ones cause.Again, the HONEST realistic reviews made all the difference in me purchasing this, and I thank you!!

This is the best mattress pad I’ve ever found (and I’ve been a mattress pad consumer for over 50 years!) Lots of natural woven cotton on top and bottom layers with none of that flimsy felted backing that starts falling apart after several washings. It has tight quilting stitching in a small enough, curved pattern that has a minimum of stress points and will prevent shifting of the fill. It has generous deep-pockets and is constructed with high quality elastic so fits my Sleep Number C5 perfectly. I’ve already laundered many times and it’s holding up with no signs of wear what-so-ever.

This is NOT high end bedding. This is good decent quality middle of the road bedding. But if you are looking for a real actual cotton filled pad this is about the best you will find at this price point. And these 100 percent cotton pads are super hard to find. Got so tired of searching 100 percent cotton only to find pad after pad with polyester fill. I just pulled the trigger and bought it. The side elastic and fabric are not really great, but the top is pretty good. I expect this to last me about 2 years and then I will buy another. Cotton sleeps cool. So at this price point a very good product. I do not have $300 for a mattress pad. It used to be easy to find a good mattress pad under $100 now its almost impossible. And this did not have a weird chemical smell like so much of the imported bedding has now. Be very careful washing it if you do (gentle) and fluff it a bit in the dryer but I would not run it through a complete cycle. Better to line dry.

This is the second one I purchase. The first one was for my queen bed. I have an all natural latex mattress and wanted a natural mattress cover that did not have chemical in it as it would defeat the purposes of my all natural and expensive mattress.The second one was for my son's twin bed. He is 11 years old and has not had a accident since he was 2 years old and therefore I am not worried about the fact that it is not waterproof. This mattress protector is really good quality, it is thick, soft, the contour is very stretchy and therefore stays snug around your mattress. I think it is perfect. I washed it and hung it dry before placing it on the bed. It's definitely worth the price. These all cotton mattress covers are really hard to find ( I had been looking forever) I am glad to have found this company.All other water proof mattress covers are made of nasty, chemical releasing materials that I chose to stay away from. This one is just perfect.

He comprado este producto dos veces, en queen y el último en king. Creo que es el mejor protector de colchón que he comprado. Me gusta la tela de algodón de buena calidad y resistente aunque no impermeable (si buscas impermeabilidad tal vez no sea la mejor opción). La tela de los laterales también se advierte resistente, he tenido otros protectores que terminan rompiéndose por los lados, este parece que resistirá mucho más. Lo he lavado en casa y se conserva en su forma original. Volvería a comprarlo.

This mattress pad is exactly what I was looking for! I have a water proof mattress protector that makes me feel like I’m sleeping on plastic even with a sheet on top. So I put this cotton pad on top of the protector and problem solved. It keeps me cool all night. I love that it’s very soft and adds a layer of comfort to my already comfortable mattress. I washed it before using and didn’t have any problems. Just be mindful of the washing instructions: cold water, delicate cycle, low heat drying. I bought the king size and it fits my king size mattress perfectly.
