This product is great for shaving your head ! I’ve used it numerous times and it’s a standby for my shaving regimen. Head Shaving is something of an art if one wants to have a smooth , bump- free result . For me , I apply this product ( only a 2-4 drops will do ) on my hands when wet , rub them together, then gently apply all over my head , wait about 30 seconds, apply my favorite shaving cream or gel , then shave with a new razor . The end result is a smooth , irritation- free scalp , that has a cool feel all day long . A+

I discovered Somersets over 20 years ago and it changed the way I shave. Just 3-4 drops in the palm of your hand, rub them together and apply. You get a much closer, fresher shave than with foam. I used to buy the small bottles, but this larger one lasts for months on end. And you can use it for a wet shave, but also with a machine shaver. 1 drop is enough to help it glide better on the skin.

I hadn't tried purely oil based shaving gel before, but I after I gave this a try, I was really surprised. It's a lot less messy compared to gels or creams and it leaves your skin feeling supple after shaving. All you have to do before you shave is, apply the oil, a few drops works, massage into beard, wait a minute or two then shave. I normally don't wash my face after as I like how the oil makes my face feel, it has this nice but fresh stinging sensation.
