These are great little containers to take to work/picnic or simply to enjoy at home. However, even when the cover is snapped on tight, they leak if they're tipped over with soup or fluid in them. Otherwise, their various sizes make them useful for a variety of foods to warm in the microwave and easily carry to work (keep upright in a carrybag). Very good value for the money!! Pretty colors add 'cheer' to your eating experience.

Perfect containers. I got tired of losing the matching lids, now it's easy to see which lids fit due to the color coding.

I bought the green soup cup and Walmart and fell in love so of course I had to get more. They hold liquids well and lid prevent spatters.

I bought one container for exclusive use in the microwave and have used it to death as it became my microwave bowl of choice. Love the snapping lid, love the vent toggle and love that it's so easy and quick to clean. The best part is that It never gets too hot to grab after extended time in the microwave. Because of that I ordered these three items so that I have a variety of sizes.

LOVE these food containers. Had them for a cou9le if months now. The 3 sizes, vent release & cool colors. Red sauce will stain but other than that, I use the everyday fir office lunch from Yogurt or leftovers & soup

I love these cups ! Perfect for one person and the handles make them safer than a regular bowl. Work really well and clean up is Easy !!!

These are pretty good. I like the variety of sizes. But they are not leak proof! I had chicken noodle soup in one, with all of the lid snaps in place, & I knocked it over. All of the broth came flooding out. I guess I'm a little more careful now.

Perfect for soup. This sturdy cooking container is made out of heat-resistant plastic. That is the main feature that differentiate this container from the regular plastic lunch containers. Yes, you can heat your soup in your normal plastic lunch container, but you will notice that the plastic will become soft. Let me confess that I have never had any of my lunch containers soften to the point of melting in the microwave. Even so, I feel uneasy when I take out the container from the microwave and find that the plastic has softened. This Sistema container is different. It is made out of heat resistant plastic. Even when the liquid inside is very hot, it does not soften. I have used this bowl to make Ramen noodles and the plastic stayed hard. I am a fan of the Rubbermaid Lunchblox series. The Lunchblox are my go-to containers for cold foods. I carry hot foods, like soup, in stainless steel Thermos containers. There are times when I need to pack food that will need to be heated prior to eating. Foods like Ramen noodles and chili. And those situations call for a container that can be used inside the microwave. Most plastics will go soft. But this Sistema will not. You can use this to make soup in your microwave at work. It is also less likely to show stains from tomato based foods and sauces. Most plastic containers will stain if you use them to carry tomato sauce. This one is opaque. If it stains, you will not see it. Important. Please keep in mind that this container is not spill-resistant. You will not find a rubber gasket on the lid. This is not a CARRYING container. It is a COOKING/HEATING container. If you want soup, you will need to carry it in a separate liquid-proof container. Transfer the soup to this bowl prior to heating. Heat and enjoy. This is what I do for soups. I carry the soup in its original, unopened container. When lunch time comes, I empty the soup into this bowl and heat on the microwave. Please do not use this Sistema bowl as a carrying container. It will leak. Think of it as a portable cooking pot. Highly recommended, but please use it for its intended purpose.

Great size for a two egg omelette:) Enough capacity for shop bought microwave meals too. The steam outlet is firm and accurate and the clip closure is also tight and secure. I like the red colour - many tomato based dishes stain white and light coloured containers - so this is a good solution.

We recently came across the Sistema microwave cookware and ordered four versions of it. It is everything we'd hoped for. Easy to clean, designed for the microwave, adjustable vent, secure lid, etc. This version is great for reheating a dinner or anything which fits. It is not very tall which means you can eat right out of it if you want. Other models are bigger or smaller, some for steaming, cooking rice, etc. All that we have tried are excellent.
