I keep one or two bottles on hand all the time because my older BMW likes to suck up oil. This is what my mechanic said to buy.

Only oil to use if you care about your car.
2018 X3 - x30i with 75K. If you can't afford a few bucks more for proper maintenance, do not buy BMW.

This is the REAL DEAL!!
This is the same dealer oil, I know, I’ve had quite a few leaks! Lol Same exact oil type, model number and even barcode! Just costs a little more than what I usually pay.

Good for newer BMWs, older models can have better
I used this oil for my 2011 X3 3.5 until early in 2019. However, I started to get some lower mileage and some oil level decreases. Nothing major, just needed to top it up by one bottle between oil changes (once per year). However, mechanic recommended using an oil that is especially formulated for older BMW cars. Switched to that one and all these issues have gone away. Highly recommend it for new models, but for older ones there is better.
