Beautiful natural aesthetic
Beautiful natural aesthetic. Constructed well. High quality for price. much larger than I typically use for a 1-2 person Chado or Gong Fu Cha preparation (of corse this solved by filling halfway) but it is great for the teas that lose their charm after 3 steeps or for larger gatherings.

Perfect for my needs
Very beautiful and solid. I use it often. No complaints at all. I would definitely recommend. I use it for regular sencha and deep-roasted senchas.

fragile
Beautiful but breaks easily. Be careful.

A beautiful piece in subtle earthtones
This is a gorgeous little kyusu pot. It arrived promptly and well-packed. A beautiful piece in subtle earthtones.

not suitable for most green tea
The teapot is beautiful, but the filter has holes that are way too big to filter out sencha or gyokuro tea leaves. It is perfect for oolong teas though, and that is what I use mine for.

The strainer is built at the entrance of the spout ...
The strainer is built at the entrance of the spout. This is a flawed design as the tea leaves end up clogging the strainer and forces you to tilt the pot at a higher angle. As a result the tea leaks through the lid no matter how hard you press it down. You always end up with spills every time you pour.
