Nothing Stays the Same, but That's Okay: A Book to Read When Everything (or Anything) Changes

This book is fantastic for young children (elementary age) who are coping with ANY kind of change. I love that the book is general enough to fit into all sorts of situations and experiences but also feels relevant. There are suggested coping skills and a great use of illustrations/diversity included in the book to help ALL kids feel seen. Very well done!

What an awesome book. I bought this to assist my child as we have alot of changes. After reading this together, she now has her stuffy in tow to face the changes together.

My 8 year old right now is dealing with his parents separating, going to a new school, still mourning his uncle's death six months ago, changing counselors, moving away from his best friend...the works. This book helped him tremendously. I'm very thankful i found it.

Bought this for my daughter and she wrote the author and the author wrote a very sweet note back. There are also a bunch of suggestions for other ways to help kids adjust to various changes in their lives. I highly recommend it.

I'm a parenting coach, and I bought this book not only for my own kids but for a client's as well. I recommend calendars like the one's Sara has created for all my client families because they make kids feel SAFE, SECURE, & IN CONTROL of their own lives. So much behavior comes from reaching out for reassurance! Especially if your child is strong-willed, or extra sensitive, this book will help life make sense for them in a way that will help you bond, have a practical tool to use, and keep them coming to you for more conversations. Also, it's cute and funny and SO well done! BUY IT!!!

Good book for a youngster dealing with upset/change. Might be too young for child I purchased it for. Poor packaging.
