Fox Outdoor Products Retro Messenger Bag

I was looking for a small "nature bag" to carry when I went out for walks in the woods. Not serious hikes, just short walks. So it needed to have room for a camera, small bottle of water, cellphone, snacks, poncho, etc. This bag is absolutely perfect for that purpose. It is smaller than a traditional messenger bag, so it probably won't fit a laptop, but it might be good for a tablet (if you're careful - there is some padding - but not a lot). I was impressed by the overall quality of this bag. It is made of really thick, heavy-duty canvas and has loads of pockets. The strap is not padded though, so probably not great for carrying really heavy things for long periods of time. The bag could easily handle it, but your shoulder might hurt.

The media could not be loaded. I got this to replace a bag that was dying that I'd decorated with my grandma when I was 13; it's (sadly) been tearing at the seams. I wanted one that would be sturdy enough for us to redecorate for who I now know I am, & had more pockets so I could organize better. This was the perfect solution! It now holds a basic first aid kit, my disability aids (tho mine are relatively small), a rather heavy keychain of trinkets that I was penguin pebbled, my car & house keys, my reading glasses, cleaners for both of my glasses (also have prescription ones), my PTSD-comfort stuffy, a couple pens, & my compact professional camera. I've used it in the rain multiple times & it dries fast, & it barely gets damp. Nothing inside has ever gotten wet. It's also adjustable, the strap lengths/shortens as it's supposed to, & the zippers work well. Even with all my stuff making it heavier, it's comfortable and doesn't cut into my skin. I'd recommend this to my friends & family if they need a new bag. :)

Horrible! The clip for the front flap completely came off after MAYBE 2 weeks. I returned it for a refund and got a scrappy dog bag. So much better!

I love this bag, I use it as my purse (I love cross body style) It is very heavy duty fabric and will not rip easily. The liner is the same as the outer fabric. I wish the little clip for keys inside and the connecter for the strap and the adjuster were metal instead of plastic, but that's not a deal breaker and so far it has held up fine.It is heavier than a lightweight purse. little velcro close pouches to put things in. I added a long velcro strip to the main pouch on mine so I don't have to close the cover flap if I don't want to.

Based off the images provided the bag appears to be much larger than it actually is. It's smaller than a standard school folder. It's made very well but way too small to really be any kind of bag. You can put your wallet and keys in it and that's about it.

This bag is very well made the stitching is impeccable and it's not unraveling anywhere it's a nice thick fabric. It's just not as big as what I thought it would be about the size of a steering wheel

The one flaw the bag has is the buckle doesn’t stay tight when pulled tight, I love everything else about this bag.
