I put the price first, because it was not showing a price currently and I do not want somebody to jack up the price based on positive reviews. We consumers have to stick together.It arrived late last night. We had our first meal with it today. My wife said it was the rice! The best of the best. It took about 35 to 40 minutes to took. We ate it as stand alone, meaning no ingredients added and it delivered. I thought it was very good as well.At first we were hesitant to order the 40 pounder due to no reviews, although there is a review now. But we decided to take the big chance on it as $106.79 divided by 40 pounds is fairly reasonable in today's exploit the consumers market.If this price holds we will happily reorder.

While it's not been opened yet (it's being saved) it did, however, arrive perfectly without any shipping damages or concerns.

#1 - Received the container and it had no real labeling except what appeared to be an Amazon stock label on the lid.#2 - Amazon label showed white rice but it was brown rice#3 - Thought I was paying a higher price because it was grown in the US but a small label on the side showed Pakistan.Amazon returned my money but this just seems very odd. Labeling type didn’t match what the online labeling looks like.

Great product. Thinking about purchasing again. The price has increased to $135 so I am thinking about shopping around.. My family of three has gone through this 40lb container in 5 months.

The brown rice was very dirty and had a a lot of chaff, but it was Ok once rinsed off. We went ahead and purchased the brown rice a second time and white rice was sent to us. It is too late to return it so that is on us. I won't be buying again.

I purchased this product based on the explicitly stated 10 year shelf life, however, upon receipt the label says 3 year shelf life under certain temperature and humidity conditions. It does not say 10 year shelf life at all. I have been deceived.

The product descriptions says 10 year shelf life. The BBD (best by date) is 25Sep2023.
