I had done some research on ways to help boost my immune sysytem as I struggle with several health issues & discussed my options with my healthcare professional. I can definitely say that this, along with other lifestyle changes, does seem to be making a noticeable difference for me. I do take some additional zinc with this & some other things my Doctor recommended but since starting my trial / experiment I can say that I had one low grade bacterial infection that kept coming back finally dwindle & die along with the help of some natural antiobiotics & some natural tinctures. My body doesn't respond well to traditional antibiotics anymore after a traumatic injury that required multiple rounds of high dose antibiotics over the course of 18 months so I really needed a more permanent way to boost my immune response long term. Since starting this journey overall I feel better & I am staying well with the occasional infection clearing up quickly instead of dragging on for months at a time. I am also ill, in general, a lot less frequently. I'm not saying this is a magic pill but if you now how & why you are taking this & have a Doctor's guidance this does seem to be a good option for boosting the bodies immune response. I do take this with food & plenty of water & I don't notice any funny tastes or ill effects on my stomach. It seems to absorb well as it is working for me. The pills don't have any weird smells to me & they are affordable. I take a lot of pills & I don't have any trouble swallowing these but that is subjective & depends on the person taking them. Expiration date was good way farther than I needed to finish the bottle & it was sealed properly when it arrived. I hope this helps someone!

My daughter asked me if I would pick up some zinc, quercetin, and C for her. She is in a dorm situation. This is nearly the perfect anti-viral supplement. If it contained some D3 it would be perfect. Nonetheless, this is a great combination of zinc picolinate (the most bioavailable form), C, Quercetin and Yerba mate. Zinc and quercetin work in tandem the body. Quercetin helps enhance the absorption of zinc, and both have similar antiviral functions. I always take a quercetin capsule when taking zinc just so the zinc is more absorbed. I don't know why yerba mate was included but it's supposed to help with irregular heart rhythms, possibly lower cholesterol and maybe helps with reducing bone loss in post menopausal women plus other health benefits. I think this is an excellent supplement and is a four month supply if 2 capsules are taken daily.

Zinc, quercetin and vitamin C are three of the strongest immune support ingredients that I look for in a supplement. These all have antiviral properties, and are present in this Naticura product -- with the vitamin C and zinc at more than 200 percent RDA if you take the suggested two capsule daily serving, and obviously by inference at above 100 percent if you take a single capsule.Given some reports of risk in taking high daily amounts of zinc, personally I will be taking only one capsule a day. The zinc is in the form of zinc picolinate, which is the most readily absorbable by the body.The yerba mate appears to be a more unusual ingredient in an immune support product, but given that it contains small amounts of selenium -- one of the crucial virus fighters -- this is a welcome part of the equation.
