This is my 2nd Tank Matez fish trap. I was skeptical about this new design with the floating door. I had the old version with the actual closing door that you closed useing a pump, but a part started rusting so decided to give this new version a shot. I have a wicked quick wrasse who's a major bully and I caught him in less then an hour. Yes these traps are on the pricy side,but I think they are 100% worth it. Not having to remove all the rocks from your tank/ not having to over stress your fish chasing them around with a net is an A+ for me.

This is one of the most unique products I have ever seen. It's amazing how easy it is to use and more importantly it is effective!! I am now able to catch my fish without worrying about stressing them out or potentially injuring them. A+++++++ Product!!!

Something simple Effective and easy to use. Really a life saver, amazing invention.. Worked as described. Worth the money spent. Every fish enthusiast needs this!

I spent a week trying to catch Yellowtail Damsel fish.Yes, $55 trap for $6 fish )))))Please take a look at my video.Keep in mind that I push a pump every time when the fish inside a trap, but unfortunately hydraulic steam take a 1 second to release a trap and trap start to float up too slow.Couple of my friends tryed to catch it without any success.

This trap quickly catches fish without stressing the fish out. Best money I have every spent. Great customer service. I will be purchasing one of there bottom dweller traps soon.

This device was easy to use. I was able to easily catch fish motivated by food.

Put it in the tank when it arrived and just let it sit there so everyone could get used to it. After about an hour I turned off the pumps and slowly started putting brine shrimp into it using the attached syringe. I caught a powder Brown Tang in about 10 minutes. Very happy with this trap. Hoping there might be a bigger one at some point for larger fish
