Good book for basic understanding of wind electrical systems. I would suggest the reader needs to have a good knowledge about mechanical / electrical engineering and power electronics before reading this book. It will be a total bouncer for a newbie without electrical or electronics background. Some of the formulae are derived from nowhere.This book is not elaborate for explaining all the concepts of wind electrical systems and works on lot of assumptions in case you are planning to work in the wind energy industry. Real knowledge of wind electrical system can only be learnt from on-site projects by taking real parameters and challenges into consideration. Good book on theoretical knowledge for students who are curious about the topic.
