Ear protectors are sturdy
My previous chainsaw helmet had the ear defenders connected with a 'flexible' wire which snapped in 5 minutes. This one is much more robust and has a much stronger feel. No accidents so far, so happily can't report the strength of the face protection yet!

I may have a big head? (63cm), but this was way too small and perched on the top of my head, sent it back

Forestry Safety Helmet
My husband is very pleased with this product. Did have problems with fitting the ear protectors, someone had said theirs broke. But we contacted the company, whose customer service was brilliant. In the meantime my husband had figured it out. But they did say they were going to redo the video to make it easier to assemble. Very happy with this and looks to be of quality and well made.

Needs to be assembled by consumer, beware.
I could not get the inner lining to sit in to their recesses. The fixtures would not align in the helmet. I used the recommended youtube assembly video and I found this as vague as the instructions in the box. I had to give up on the assembly because the clips are not tight fitting and I could not see the helmet staying together while in use. Not very safe piece of equipment in my opinion. I would avoid this item. Look elsewhere. Buy the more expensive well known brands is what my solution will be. Think safety first. I now have to go to the trouble of returning the item. Post Office queues etc.
