i cannot say enough good things about my silhouette cameo 3. i am a first time buyer of any cutting machine. i have no other experience to compare to, but this machine is great in itself. it took me a few days to master how to cut different types of vinyl, but now that i know how to do it, it is so easy. i am only getting better each day. i am a complete newbie when it comes to these types of machines, but the silhouette was very user friendly. this bundle came with a great amount of vinyl and the tools to use to weed and apply it on surfaces. i am very happy. i make something new every day. so very pleased with my silhouette cameo 3

Update: I've requested assistance from customer service twice now regarding technical issues I've encountered and have yet to receive a response. Not feeling good about this purchase.I just received the machine and am existed to see what it can do. However, I'm very unhappy to find that Silhouette does not even have up to date instructions and getting started videos for the Cameo 3. The videos they've provided are completely out of date, washed out (hard to see what they're showing), and not applicable to this new system. That concerns me as there appears to be a learning curve with this product and Silhouette should ensure that their customers have all they need to use the system properly

I've owned the Cricut and the Pazzles machines in the past and the Cameo Silhouette is by far the best one in my opinion.Super easy to use, cuts well, the design software is easy to learn, and the blue tooth is just the icing on the cake for me.I've used this to cut heat transfer vinyl, heat transfer paper, regular vinyl, paper, cardstock, and chipboard so far and it's worked fantastic for all. Love the auto adjusting blade!!!!

Just like the description said, it came with a bundle of adhesive vinyl sheets (assorted colors), 3 transfer sheets, and the tools. It was confusing at first on how to use the software application for the machine. YouTube is a life saver! But once you see the end results, its worth it! You can't help but be amazed at the machine and what it can help you achieve. It brought out my creative thinking. I'm actually working on designing a few items. So glad I spent the money on this.

This is far from perfect, and it is making the decals I need to make. If you have a mac, just ignore the part about bluetooth... it will connect, and then almost immediately disconnect. Even sitting right next to the machine I have never been able to send anything to the machine using bluetooth, so just forget that. Otherwise, it pretty much works as advertised... sometimes it can need adjusting for no apparent reason... kind of frustrating... but after adjustment it works again. So as long as you understand that this will need a lot of attention/adjustment and several tries to get you the finished product you want, you should be happy with it.

honestly i thought this item would be much easier to work with. i am a graphic designer, been working with Photoshop and Illustrator for more than 20 years, and this software is not so intuitive as i would have expected. i did receive a LOT of support from the company and am at a place finally that i can cut stencils, but i do believe that i am using only about 20% of this tools capacity - similar to owning a sewing machine with 40 stitches and only using the straight stitch lol

It's day 5 and I haven't even been able to use the machine due to issues with silhouettes software download. Silhouette America has THE ABSOLUTE WORST software support team I have ever encountered. There are no 800 numbers provided to customers. All correspondence regarding software is handled in an online chat, where a representative simply directs you to their website's support "faqs" (which are available without assistance). If you're lucky enough to reach the highest level of support, you may receive a scheduled "call back" however these representatives just follow the same online support faqs that were previously provided. Absolutely ridiculous. Once I googled Silhouette software help, I realized these issues are experienced quite often by many Silhouette users. I would suggest checking out the comparable Cricut. I'll update my review, if and when I am able to get the software issues resolved. Until then, my Cameo is useless.

I did not like this package. The books are only e-books and the software is the free one anyone can download and does not contain rulers so you can measures in the software so you can figure out the size of the cut-out.
