I was disappointed in these clips. I was looking for a large clip to quickly get my hair up off my neck. Nothing fancy, just a casual up-do for running errands. These are just not quite long enough (perhaps) or strong enough - not sure - but these do not securely clamp my hair all the way across the clip - my hair falls out on the open ended side. I could use two clips, but I find it clumsy and not very cute. I kept them and use to section my hair for styling, but that was not why they were purchased. For reference, my hair is just below my shoulders and not thick - just average density hair.

I'm kinda meh about the color options for these (really only like the dark blue and the red) but man these clips are PERFECT for a minimal-effort, decent-looking up-do. I can just twist my hair up, secure it with one of these clips, and I have an up-do that is good enough to wear into the office and easy/comfortable enough to just wear around the house. I have fine, slippery hair (although admittedly I have a lot of it) and this holds no problem. I've also used these to have a loose, low ponytail. Again, the clips easily hold my fine, fine hair with little-to-no slippage but also don't grip and give me a headache. Cannot recommend enough if you're looking for a super-simple option to put your hair up and have it look good enough for an office job.

I purchased these to keep my hair up instead of using the jaw or claw clips I've always used. I sleep with one of these on the top of my head and there's nothing poking me or getting in the way when I toss and turn like the claw clips. They have a really good grip, but not tight or uncomfortable. I have waist length medium density hair and these do a great job. They're strong but gentle. They're very sturdy and don't feel cheap at all. I've had them for several months now and they're just like brand new. High quality and will last a very long time.

I needed a way to put moderately long hair up that wasn’t a ponytail or a messy bun— and at 40+ no scrunches again… I use these for everything everyday and best part? No headaches no giant bulky device that interferes with the headrest in my car or anything else. Love these and hope no one else finds them so they stay available/ don’t get cheaper/weaker dupes!!

These are great, they hold up all my fine hair and I can lean back and rest my head on things without causing a skull indentation from big spring loaded pincher clips.
