Disappointing lifespan - But good customer service
*EDIT*After contacting the company about how the brush failed me, they were kind enough to send me a replacement totally free of charge.*ORIGINAL REVIEW*I purchased this facial brush last September because the Olay facial brush I had been using finally died after 5 years of usage. The brush on this new one was a little harder than I was used to in the beginning, and it did scratch my skin once when i was using it, so I had mild scabbing/peeling skin on the right side of my face where I may have applied too much pressure using it, or prolonged the contact of the brush on one part of my face for too long. But after a couple of weeks, the brush head became softer and also I used a lighter hand than with my previous facial brush. After less than 9 months of using this, one day it just wouldn't turn on - I tried changing out the batteries and made sure the batteries were in the right way - but no matter what I did it just wouldn't start, not even a light. So for the last 3 months, I've just been using it as a manual brush.I just emailed the manufacturer to see if they can do anything about this issue. I would expect the lifespan of this product to be much longer than it was, considering my Olay facial brush lasted 5 years, and they are very nearly the same price. I am disappointed in this product/brand, and will update this post once/if the manufacturer responds to my email.

Yes, Thumbs up to the Daisi Face Cleansing Brush
ok, bought this May 8th 2016. its now Oct 29th 2016. I can honestly say now, I LOVE THIS THING!! Seriously, what in the world was my face washcloth doing , prior to this purchase? It's a wonder my skin didn't strongly protest up to point of this purchase. I don't know if its necessarily this 'brand' that's great , all I can say, is that I am part of the face cleansing brush family now. This was the one I chose to get. Its a basic and simple design/system. No extra brushes and not many parts that I will hardly use, to take up space in my home. As far as I can tell, there is not many nooks and crannies for mold and mildew to settle into the hand held part. Of course time will tell. We'll see. Once I figured out the appropriate cleansing soap (organic natural) and other ingredients (honey , apple cider vinegar, lemon)for my sensitive skin, I'm amazed at how brighter my face has gotten. I use this face brush system once a day-usually at night because using the brush on my skin twice a day makes my skin feel sore. I don't wear makeup ... yet ... so not much going on with my skin. Yet, when I use this at night, the brush is dirty. Once I get my skin balanced and in order over time, I'm going to dabble in a little makeup. Just want to get the canvas on point first :)

I've been blessed with relatively great skin. cue mid-life hormone changes
So coming into my 30th year, I've been blessed with relatively great skin.cue mid-life hormone changes! My skin has grown really sensitive, duller, and overall just sadder and prone to acne (never had issues before)As I've grown into upping my skincare and devoloping a routine, I decided to get something like a Clarisonic...but not totally sold on the price.I did some research and this seemed like the best deal!Personally, I love how lightweight it is. The brushes are soft and I love the 2 speeds.Again, I have REALLY sensitive skin. My aunt tried to get me to try her Clarisonic a year ago or so and I literally felt like my entire face had been lit on fire. The daisi has been mostly nice to my skin, if I press a little too hard, I notice some tingling or irritation after...but its intentional as I'm trying to really make sure I'm getting in there to get all the dirt out.I'm not totally sure I've seen a dramatic difference, but I do feel overall my face feels ALOT cleaner and looks brighter immediately after. Still weighing in on whether or not its a huge difference from using my hands..

I love this Cleansing Brush!!!!
This was purchased as a replacement for my Clarisonic that would not keep a charge. When I first opened the package and felt the feel and weight of the Daisi, I was impressed. I really thought for the price it would be a cheap piece of plastic. Not the case. I did not realize that it is operated by batteries (if this is listed in the description, I overlooked). In the box is a stand (clarisonic does not come with a stand) The operation is very smooth. No Timer - not a big issue for me. The brush is very soft. My first face wash I thought it was a little too soft. Second wash I was more used to it and it feels great on your face. The Daisi has 2 speeds, I only used the fastest.Do not hesitate to purchase. This is a great face cleansing brush. I will be looking to see if they offer different brush replacements. I can definitely see myself using this more then I did the Clarisonic.

Affordable and durable alternative
I have both a Daisi and a Clarisonic. The Clarisonic is more expensive and seems to be more water resistant, but I have experienced similar cleaning results with Daisi. The two devices work slightly differently, so I see the best results when I use both devices in tandem. I bought my Daisi over 4 years ago, and it's still working. For a while there were no replacement brushes available for the Daisi. I have found these Fancii skin replacement brush heads to be compatible: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078P51N96

Good for my acne-prone skin!
I'm someone who struggles with acne, and once I got pregnant I had to (or wanted to) stop using a lot of the topical treatments I would normally use from my dermatologist, in favor of more natural remedies. During those early weeks of pregnancy, my skin was going crazy so I decided maybe it needs a deeper cleaning. I don't know if my hormones have just settled down or if it's a combination of this brush and my tea tree oil that I have to thank, but my skin has been looking good! (Knock on wood). It's soft and gentle which is good because my skin is sensitive, but it really lathers up my gentle face wash nicely!
