Our dog uses it constantly, which is a good thing.
We no longer have to guess when our 9-mo. pup wants to go outside. And she no longer needs to scratch at the door, or whine, or pace. And, no more accidents! When she begins to ask to go out every five minutes (usually to eat more raspberries), we simply remove the bells from the door for awhile. The only suggestion I have is that there be an optional velcro attachment at the bottom, to keep the string of bells from swinging when you're trying to close the door, because sometimes the door will catch on the bells. But otherwise, we couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. Our pup approves too.

Good training tool
We got a Pomsky in May and we immediately started trying to potty train him. We got this bell in hopes of training him to alert us when he needs to go out.It was easily attached to my sliding glass door by the door handle. It’s loud enough to hear upstairs. We also trained our dog to come back inside when he hears the bell and he’s outside. So that’s nice. However we did not anticipate feeling like our dog ruled the house because he will ring the bell when he’s bored And if we don’t respond fast enough he lets us know by very loudly timing the bell. I feel like I’m a dogs butler some days 🤣

Great but high pitched bell sound lol
We have a set of these for our downstairs back door, and a set for our bedroom door so our dog can let us know if he needs to go in the middle of the night. The set we have downstairs has a different bell tone than this one does. And it’s annoying. It’s less like a “deeper bell” noise and more like high pitched Christmas bells. If that makes sense. But it works for what we need it for and we’re not returning it so it is what it is. Just be aware if you’re sensitive to higher pitched noise you might want to get another brand.

Purchased for my dachshund puppy
I purchased this for my dachshund puppy because he would just go sit at the door. At first, I hung them beside the door and that didn't work. He would then throw himself on the door. I moved them to the door handle. He will use them about fifty percent of the time. He is just a baby yet, at 13 weeks old. My son and daughter in law ordered the same ones for their dachshund puppy and he uses his to indicate that he has to go outside. I believe I need to work on more training with my puppy for success.

Gift
I have one for my dog so I got my sister one and she trained her dog in a couple of days how to hit this bell to let her know it’s time to go outside. Only thing about it is that both of our dogs like to hit the bell whenever they want to just walk or play as well lol great thing to buy

Great for training, but scratched/dented wall and door jam
The bells worked so well for training our puppy. He drives us nuts at times ringing it over and over to go outside and play too. However, we knew that would likely happen when we bought them. The issue I have is how much the bells have scratched our wall and dented the door jam. I’m looking for something that will not damage the house, but serve the same function.

BEST WAY TO TRAIN A DOG!!!
From almost the first day, my dog began to ring the bells to go outside. I couldn’t believe how fast he picked up on it. Even when I’m busy, he rings the bells, I hear it, out we go. I would say after one week, he had it down on what to do when he needed to go outside.

They work but…
They do work for potty training, but they tend to get stuck in the door upon closing. We’ve broken off quite a few bells. Probably not the best idea if you have kids who are in and out a lot.

Very Happy with Purchase
Works perfectly to hang on the door, love that you can shorten or lengthen the strap so the bells are easily to reach for the puppy and can be adjusted as the pup grows.
