The packaging looks a bit 'blokey' but this product is for men and women - and it's discrete. I use this to cover a couple of permanently sparse areas of hair growth following chemo. It works a treat! The only problem is that there is no way of knowing when the container is nearly empty. This is my second purchase of Beaver Hair Fibres and I've bought it before the other pack is finished to avoid being caught without any. Note to Beaver: a see-through section at the bottom of the cylinder would help. The fibres themselves are easy to use. Simply sprinkle gently over thinning areas and pat down. It may be advisable to cover the shoulders when applying to avoid any fibres falling onto clothing, although this shouldn't happen if care is taken. A light touch of hair spray or oil will help to 'seal' it. I don't find it necessary to use every day as the fibres mostly stay put until hair is washed. I'd recommend it to anyone thinking of purchasing the more expensive alternative. If it works, why pay more?

Se vide très vite. Il serait temps de revoir le mode d'application afin de ne pas en mettre de partout.

Not bad but good - does the job but can be a slight colour difference so comb through and use the hair spray to help. It's given me my confidence back, my only worry now is how far do you go if your thinning continues because I don't fancy throwing this on more and more over the years, eventually I'm going to have to accept my fate and put some eggs on top of my nest head!!! Worth the money!

I am the (un) proud owner of a thinning top, so been a vain sort of chap, Ihave had to purchase lots of products like this over the last couple of years.Thankfuly, my hair as never got any worst. At first I had my hair in a different style, so my thinning top was not on show. But now I have a shorter cut, and it is now more prominent. I first started buying the well known product leaders in this field, I'm sure you know who they are, but them I saw this one advertised, and thought I would give it a go. Basically, you get twice as much product for half the money! It works just as well as any thing, and it was a good match for my hair colouring. Like all the others, it does lay a little dull on your head, so I carefuly spray it with a little shine or hair spray, or rub a little gel or similar into it. But be careful you dont rub it all out. One application for me will last all day. I'm really pleased I've discovered this product and it is been sold for the price it is.

Haven't really had time to properly review this brand as only used it twice. However, I applied it to my thinning crown and slightly receding hairline at the front to do the usual cover up. I left the house, and it was quite windy, by the time I reached my destination 10 minutes later, I check the back of my head over my crown in a friends bathroom mirror and the fibres had blown out and smudged my scalp. This has happened before with other fibre brands and it get's annoying. I have found the best way to countermeasure this is to apply hairspray over the fibres and your hair, but not too much, this should give your thin hair and fibres a more solid hold in windy weather, and more so than using gel, wax, or mousse. The price of this Beaver brand is very good considering you get 28g. Most refill packets cost about the same for less than 28g, and there is a lot of fake fibre refill packets out there which are a nightmare to apply correctly, they can sometimes clump up and smudge your fore head and scalp. The art is too apply not too much, and not too little, but with a good quality brand of fibres. I may come back and buy another Beaver bottle if I don't have any problems with them blowing out again in a little wind. It took a while to apply enough fibres with this bottle design, unlike the expensive Toppik bottle design, but the fibre quality seems good and not clumpy like other fake refill brands. I would rate this brand 5 stars based on price and quantity, but I have to give it three stars mainly because I've only used it twice and had one bad experience from it in windy weather.
