I purchased the Smart Deadbolt, SMONET Fingerprint Electronic Deadbolt Door Lock with Keypad in January 2023, and I have been extremely satisfied with its performance. The lock offers a range of convenient features, including keyless entry, app control, and eKey sharing, making it perfect for modern living. The fingerprint recognition and keypad work flawlessly, providing both security and ease of use.However, after about 11 months, I noticed that the batteries started draining unusually fast. I reached out to customer service (thank you Winter) to report the issue. Their response was prompt and professional. After a few attempts to resolve the issue with battery replacements, they generously offered to send me a new lock. The new lock was shipped out on Thursday and arrived on Saturday morning, demonstrating their commitment to quick and efficient service.I am very pleased with both the replacement lock and the excellent customer service I received. The new lock works perfectly, just like the original one did before the battery issue. This experience has reinforced my confidence in the SMONET brand and their products.I highly recommend the Smart Deadbolt to anyone looking for a reliable and secure smart lock. The product’s functionality, coupled with the outstanding customer service, makes it a worthwhile investment. I am happy with my purchase and will continue to use and recommend SMONET products.

I was initially skeptical of the smart locks, but after trying this one, can say that they are extremely convenient and my family stopped carrying house keys entirely, even though this lock does let you open it the old-fashioned way with the key. First, you can unlock and lock this smart lock remotely, via the app, and a small hub connected to the home network, which is very easy to set up. Second, you can unlock via a keypad, which works well and allows for permanent or temporary codes, etc. Essentially you can assign different pins for different family members or send temp keys that expire to friends or visitors. Third, you can unlock with small eKeys which come with the lock and are essentially small cards, like in the hotel. and the Fourth way is to unlock with a fingerprint scan, which is super fast and convenient. The lock also has an auto-lock feature, which works well, but requires the door to be fully closed to work. Overall I do recommend this lock.

I purchased this keypad/fingerprint lock for my front door. The installation was quite easy as it already fit the existing hole from my previous lock. This lock is sooooo convenient to use! I absolutely love the fingerprint feature and also the ability to program it for multiple users with their own codes and fingerprints. The app is also great because it lets me know who is coming into my home based on their programmed codes and when they entered. A great way to keep track of kids coming and going all the time! The customer service for this product is also excellent! Unfortunately the first one I purchased was defected as the manual key worked to unlock the lock but the fingerprint, passcode and keyfabs didn’t fully retract the deadbolt into the doorframe. However I contacted the company and they got back to me right away. The customer representative (Helen) even FaceTimed me so she could see the issue. She diagnosed a computer malfunction with the unit (as the manual key did work). She sent me a replacement lock right away and I received it within 2 days. Installed it with no issues and it works fully! I am very pleased with this product and the service I received!

I purchased 4 of these locks as Christmas gifts for my family. The intention was to find something dependable with an easy to manage app that allowed for customization for multiple users. It has now been 4 months since they were installed and my family is so happy with their locks.The fact that you can use a key, a finger print, enter a code, use your phones Bluetooth, the ic fobs or even your watch; makes this a very versatile lock with current technology and customizations.Today I had to visit my daughters and made it to her house before her. She was able to send me a temporary code from the app so that I would be able to get in, that was impressive and so convenient. This feature is also useful if you have trades or guests coming that only require temporary access with an expiry time/date that you can set or revoke at any time. Convenience and security have all been well thought out for a lock that costs considerably less than other brands on the market.It was necessary to contact their support line recently because the unit I purchased for my father was having problems. I found it most helpful to contact them through their WhatsApp because of the time difference. They did some troubleshooting with me and determined that the unit should simply be replaced. Within 10 hours there was a delivery at my dad’s door with a replacement unit. To say we were shocked at how fast they resolved our issue is an understatement. They went above and beyond to back up their warranty and were fantastic to deal with.So knowing that the features aligned perfectly with our expectations and the support exceeded even some of the bigger names I’ve used in the past; I will continue to support this brand going forward.Thank you Helen for your continued follow up and consideration!

I really loved this lock for my In home daycare and my family. The fingerprint recognition is a very easy, easy quick set up and works great for my kiddos so they don’t need to have a key they’ll just lose. I love the auto lock feature so my house is always safe and secure. The only negative is I want all my daycare families codes to work in the same time frame. (Daycare hours) they each have their own individual code and they can’t be set for the same time frame. So going forward I could just give them all the same code I suppose but I like being able to set it to their name so it’ll tell me who came and left when.
