NOT 20% more color! Does not even compare to the MYSTICAL FIRE 25 grams that I have purchased in past eight years. A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT and a waste of my money. I usually use (3) packs of the Mystical fire and the color is fantastic and usually lasts 30 minutes or more. NOT these.... I had to use (5) packs to even come close and after 10 minutes the color diminished and just a small flame of color pop within the flames.......

If you are a bonfire aficionado as I am you have to try these if you haven't already. People stop and ask me how I get the colors in my fires all the time. I also get compliments on my bonfires all the time. There are a few tricks to using them to best effect. Don't put them in when the fire is first starting or blazing too high as the bright flames will overpower the colors. And it's also best to have an established bed of coals. Also they won't work on just a bed of coals as there has to be some flames for the colors to appear. A little practice and you'll see what I mean. For a small or medium sized fire one packet will last more than 30 minutes but you can use more if you have a larger fire or just want a lot more intense colors. I used to make my own color packets from raw chemicals I purchased but these turn out to be far more convenient and probably less expensive in the long run too.

I've been using Mystical Fire for years, while camping or for the backyard fire pit. It's a nice entertaining and enjoyable addition to your outdoor fire. This "Extreme" version looks pretty much the same as the previous ones I've used. The only difference that I noticed, is that this one seems to last longer. For those who want to add a little color and mystique to their plain campfire, I highly recommend these...
