Turtle FurDouble-Layer Midweight Micro Fur Fleece Neck Warmer

As a former downhill recreational skier, I had previous experience with Turtle Fur products, including neck gators. They were an essential part of my outdoor ski wear. Before relocating to Florida, I donated all of my ski equipment and clothing as I did not anticipate I’d ever need it. The weather here does get cold and windy at times and I was elated to be able to purchase a neck gator to ward off the chill.This neck gator is every bit as warm and comfortable as those I wore skiing two decades ago. So simple to slip over your head and it totally blocks the cold air from your neck, chest and back. It is lightweight, yet very warm and is not at all bulky. So glad I have it for this cold, windy times walking my dog.

I'm a letter carrier and out in the cold all winter long. This has worked great at helping to keep me warm and the wind from my neck. Definitely recommend it if you're out in the cold and wind all the time.

Quality feeling fleece - not quite as thick as expected but a nice layer to have for cold weather.

I love that this covers my neck without the bulk of a long scarf. Plus it can be pulled up over your nose and mouth for additional warmth.

So incredibly soft and warm! If anything it keeps me toasty warm on freezing days - I use it for skiing or running in the dead of winter

Just what I was hoping it would be. Keeps neck and lower face warm on my daily morning walk in Ohio. Wish I would have bought one sooner.

It fit around my 14.5 inch neck a little looser than I expected it to. The quality of the material is good. It is perfect for keeping my entire neck warm, but I wouldn't recommend it if you expect to be able to move around a lot with it pulled up over your mouth or nose. However, the size i received was labeled adult size. Perhaps I need to order a smaller size(if they have one), even though I am a 5 foot 11 inch man, weighing in at 175 pounds.On that note, I bought it to use in a cold storage warehouse facility, where I move around boxes all day. Thankfully, I only need to cover my neck, because my face doesn't get too cold at the 35 degree temperature with how much I move around. If you want this product to shovel light snow or wear in your car until you warm up, It is perfect for that. I wouldn't recommend it for 1. sports or 2. using it to cover anything above your neck

This particular Turtle Fur product is not as ultra-soft and cozy feeling as a neck warmer I ordered directly from Turtle Fur. Both have the same Turtle Fur tag on the outside (that you see in the picture) -- but they have very different 'care/washing instructions' tags on the inside. The tag on this one is a stiff, generic tag that can be easily ripped off/removed -- and the one on the neck warmer I ordered from Turtle Fur is smaller, softer and is sewn in/can't be removed. Makes you wonder if the one for sale here is either not an original Turtle Fur product -- or -- is a Turtle Fur second/reject/mistake? It's still a nice neck warmer for sure -- but the differences are curious.

Excellent better than any scarf that I own.

Lovely and soft but durable and practical. I've worn it most days.washes well.much easier than wearing a scarf but still looks good.

Brilliant in this cold and windy British weather. I could almost convince myself that I was not out in -3 degrees!Comfortable and a must for us intrepid dog walkers.

I have purchased this product before and find it to be the best neck warmer available. It is simple, light and soft, so you are almost unaware of wearing it and if like me you don't like the cold air around your neck then this is for your (much better than a scarf). A possible down side for some is that unlike my previous neck warmer, it does not have a draw cord, therefore making it unsuitable to convert into a hat. ------ also a bit pricey for a simple garment..
