We purchased the scaredy cat clippers because my mini schnauzer doesn't always care to be clipped with the electric ones from head to toe. So with the scared cat clippers, especially as her hair gets longer and starts to be matted. This is able to get down to the skin Nicely and steel cuts. Great we use the 1.5 attachment and it worked Perfect. Where we don't live near a groomer this still allows me to give her a great haircut. Keep her comfortable and have her like being groomed. I highly recommend PS. I am also left-handed and so the left-handed option was a great choice.😍

My long-haired Angora cat has the finest of fur, and her hindquarters always seem to develop mats close and tight to her skin. The length of the scissors, and the angle of the comb made it very hard for me to get as close as I need to be. She's only cooperative for about 20 seconds at time, so the idea of having comb and scissors combined was plus, as I have to keep her pinned down with the other. It just didn't work for me/my cat. Could immediately tell it wouldn't work.PROS: But the case is nicely made, and compact, as are assorted combs. (I wouldn't have tried if it was only in pink, so good on them for having two colors. (Blue is very nice, a cheerful lighter blue.) Noticed in the reviews that someone used it successfully with her horse, which is also great— they have sizes for every critter.CONS: Grooming a cooperative cat should be fine. Or, if you had another pair of hands that also would be nice. I didn't have either, and so I returned it.

I purchased through Amazon and it was defective when I first received it, plus I was sent a left-handed and I am right-handed.After contacting and sending back they sent me a new right-handed version and it was amazing my cats did not get scared .The scissors was easy to use and easy to maneuver I highly recommend this product and the customer service goes above and beyond. They even followed up with me to see if I was enjoying the product and if there was anything else they could do. Best communication skills I've had with any company in a very long time.

My dog is very sound sensitive so an electric razor would not be a good option for trimming his hair. This product worked beautifully! He has fine long hair and the attached comb was perfect. I just gave him a chew toy and was able to cut his hair very easily. Would definitely recommend this product!

I really like using these scissors to help groom my dog. It has different size combs which are exchangeable. You don't have to worry about getting too close to the skin. It keeps you from actually cutting your dog. Read the instructions if they need adjustments. Great Product!
