Great, tough toy!
We have had Scoobie Doo for about a year, and he is going strong - no deterioration, really! We have a small dog (snoodle) who is an obsessive toy- chaser, and the toy clearly has a high mileage based on how many times it has been tossed, sliding on hardwood floors, down the length of the house. The knotted rope “legs” are fair pull-sites, but not the best we’ve had. My blind mini-schnauzer (other dog) generally can’t get a good tooth-hold.

My dog loves it
This is the second ‘scooby’ I have bought for my pup. He loved the first one so much. After a year it finally got a rip in the seam and that’s all she wrote. My pup does not destroy his toys, we have pretty much all of them since he came home a year ago. But, I really like that they can play tug of war, squeak and have a baby all in one.

I’m a sucker for Scooby
I love a good Scooby knock-off, even better if it’s a dog toy. I got this for my puppers first birthday. Yes, I’ll admit it I’m one of ‘those’ pet owners, we even had a dog cake, it’s embarrassing. So, moving on… I was excited because the material looked sturdy and I knew the ropes as arms and legs would be a big hit. Unfortunately I forgot to look for the soft bits. Spencer, the birthday boy, eagerly grabbed the toy and ran. I caught up with him five minutes later and he’d already destroyed an ear. No problem, I’m handy with a needle. I cut it off and sewed it up.Five minutes later I did the same for the second ear. I mistakenly thought we were good to go.20 minutes later Spencer came running up to show me his prize. I was not happy to see that he had a piece of plastic in his mouth (see picture). It came from the tail, it was the “crinkle paper”. You’d hope that dog toy makers would be savvy enough to NOT put small pieces of plastic cellophane type materials inside a chew toy. Apparently not.I then cut off the tail and sewed that up. By this time Scooby had become a potato. But now he’s a safe potato chew toy. Spencer is happy, I’m happy.I absolutely get that the toy is not for aggressive chewers so I didn’t take off any stars for all the doctoring I had to do. I DID take off a star for putting plastic in a dog toy.I looked, but there was no “made in China” label. The Brand and Seller are located in China, so I’m going to make the assumption that this toy was made in China. To sum up this extra long review, it wouldn’t be a bad toy for gentle loving dogs. But if you have a chewer who loves the soft bits you have been warned. If you get it, have a needle and thread ready to go.I’ve included pics of Fake Scooby, the plastic, and one of the birthday boy.

Squeaker is bad
There was a squeaker but hard to find and most of time would not squeak. Toy will last a long timeFog was not very interested in it. I made a poor choice.

At risk
It's ok but I would not recommend it due to the string.

No challenge for Cooper!
My dog Cooper is a 6yr old Mini Dachshund. I swear his teeth are like tiny razors. I love this little guy but he can do some major damage in 60 secs or less!! This toy was one that caught my eye since I am from MD and we love our Crabs. Hmmm apparently so does Cooper. Yes, he had a blast pulling off the legs and eating them first!! Just like a good crab picker. Next, he ripped off his eye. Then went for the meat.. Let me tell you the amount of meat, I mean stuffing, that came out of this crab was unbelievable. Wish all crabs were so “heavy” So, if your dog is a chewer stay away. If you have a mild mannered dog, it's a cute stuffed animal for them. I know this product wasn't sold for aggressive chewers but it WAS so cute. My rating is based on Coopers entertainment. Cooper gives 4 paws up!

Well made!
Both of my Jack Russells love this toy. They are usually able to destroy any dog toy like this in the first few minutes but this one has survived several weeks of chewing and tug of wars. Even the squeaky toy inside has survived mostly because it’s buried under several layers of padding. It’s made of a very tough but soft fabric. The only problem I have encountered is one dog managed to chew part of an ear off. I watch them carefully so when that happened I took the toy away.

Cute but didn’t last in my house
My 4month old GoldenDoodle destroyed it within two days
