Perfettamente modulabile(lasciando il tutto in ambiente temperato per ammorbidire i cavi)come peso nella norma e per la durata potrò definirla solo tra qualche anno.Verificando da Bios ottimi i volt.Sistema con i7 9700K e GTX 2080 e 5 meccanici +ssd tutto sparato in o.c .Ottimop.s. occhio quando si ordina,il mio arriva dalla GranBretagna e la spina è ovviamente inglese,mea culpa,ma risolto velocemente con il cavo del vecchio ali.

I bought this PC power supply to replace the failed one in my monster PC.Being modular, you only need to fit the leads that you actually need for what is in your PC. This can save space and make the installation more tidy. The main 24-pin cable was clearly much thicker than the old one, and less bendy. I don`t have any floppy drives so didn`t need a couple of the leads. I do have 2 DVD drives, a HDD, a SSD and extra cooling fans than run off the 4-pin SATA power leads, plus the NVIDIA GTX 970 needs n 8-pin power lead. There`s plenty of extra lead capacity for a second graphics card if you have one.The Gold in the title refers to how efficient the power conversion is. I believe it has to achieve 92% of the input power getting to the components. This means it generates less heat than a Bronze-rated power supply, let alone one with no rating at all. This also means, as far as I can make out, that the full 650 watts is available on the main outputs to the motherboard, and presumably the graphics card. There`s plenty on the other outputs to run the drives.I also immediately noted that the fan inside the power supply makes a lot less noise than the out-going failed one. The whole PC is quieter now, and more efficient, therefore also cheaper to run. Not having bundles of unconnected cables also makes it tidier: the spares are in the box in the loft. That`s another bonus, you might have spare cables. You get some Velcro cable ties in the box too.There is also a switch on the power supply inside the PC for ECO mode. This will actually regulate the fan further to only use it when needed, which can make it run silently when it`s cool enough. My PC has a number of 120mm fans on the casing which is likely keeping the temperature down anyway, so I switched that to ECO after a while.Whilst this power supply is not the cheapest, I chose it because of its reliability (based on other reviews), and also because it is more efficient. I have not had any issues with it at all, it`s worth spending that little bit extra for the quality on as vital a component as this.
