Firstly, I would like to appreciate the sincere and heartfelt efforts made in presenting Shri Krishan's life along with the paintings. It is like meditation while reading as well as going through the artwork.The art of focusing one’s attention on the Supreme and giving one’s love to Him is called Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Srila Prabhupada have inaugurated the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement so that everyone can satisfy his propensity for loving others simply by directing his love toward Kṛṣṇa.Krishna consciousness creates the supreme intelligence in us which is as krishnamurti once said that nothing in the outside world makes you feel incomplete. Our life becomes an expression of completeness and love. Jai Shri Krishna 🙏🏽

जन्म कर्म च मे दिव्यमेवं यो वेत्ति तत्त्वतःत्यक्त्वा देहं पुनर्जन्म नैति मामेति सोऽर्जुनTranslation:One who thus knows, in true light, My divine birth and action, having abandoned the body, does not have to take birth again, but comes to My eternal abode.This verse is from the Bhagavad Gita, chapter 4, verse 9. In this verse, Lord Krishna is explaining to Arjuna the importance of understanding the true nature of his birth and actions.So by reading this book alone we can understand the divine nature of Krishna's birth and actions.

If you are facing any problem. You should try the bhagwat Geeta. It will work as panacea for you

For such a good book that too available for a much lesser price, I’d say its completely worth it

It is a story form of a traditional scripture, Bhagavatam, which is read and recited since thousands of years. I liked this book because the author is honest in presenting the content of this traditional scripture without much introducing his personal thought.I am very satisfied to have read a stroy form of Bhagavatam, especially Lord Krishna's lila, which is very sweet.Many chapters can be told as bed time stories to our kids.I read this book in over 3 months approx. Trying read chapter a day. Just before going to bed. It's really a great relaxation from days thoughts.I really enjoyed reading this book.I strongly recommend everyone to have a read of this sweet book.

Drop your beliefs before reading this book. I recommend you look at it as either historical fiction or fiction or history. If you read it as a tool for spiritual evolution and you are not someone who grew up within the hinduism system, you are about to be challenged.I read this book because after reading the Bhagavad Gita I just wanted to welcome Krishna in my life and became very curious about the sacred texts of India. However what I found in this book was shocking to me and nothing like the Gita. Krishna feels here like a superhuman being. He has the divine qualities of God yet he has very human behaviors. You will see him engaged in wars, conquests, vengeance . The fact that so many women lusted over him was unsettling. So my advice is to come prepared to drop your beliefs of who or what is God. We can define God within a specific frame but in reality we are so limited to even dare define God.Being such ancient texts, surely it’s a matter of misinterpretation. Being raised in the west, some of us don’t count with the guidance to see beyond the words in the literal sense and find the true meaning.I still kept reading but I had to detach from my expectations and just flow with it. It’s an entertaining book. Is it illuminating? I don’t know how to decipher that and I suspect most westerners won’t know either. What I do know is that I will read it again and other similar texts simply because at a deeper level i am called to it. And maybe one day I will find that subconsciously I have in fact deciphered the teachings.
