Excellent product!
I used this on some barn steel. I wanted to save the rust and make it all look shiny and prevent it from rusting further. The product is easy to work with and it looks great. It has a wet look and and the rust pop.

Expensive, but the best for coating metal
I have a lot of cast-aluminum deck furniture that is now 13 years old. The SC sun eventually kills the finish. The furniture in the shaded, screened porch has retained its bronze finish, but the finish of pieces in the weather faded to the color and texture of charcoal briquettes. Replacing the furniture would have been thousands of dollars. I knew that painting the furniture would have been pretty easy, but it would not last a long time and would become dull and faded. Every other year, I would end up painting again.I cleaned the furniture and brushed Everbrite directly over the existing finish. Of course, it did not return the bronze color (Everbrite is clear) but it made the furniture a very attractive, very glossy black. It looks brand new.The pic I attached shows the first coat on a small table sitting beside a chair that had not been touched. The pic does not really do the product adequate justice. One coat got me about 90% of where I wanted to be. I could have stopped there, but I put two coats on every piece so that I would have a thicker and glossier surfaceThings you need to know:1) the product seems to be a type of plastic that is dissolved in xylene. The xylene keeps the product about the consistency of maple syrup. As the xylene evaporates, the product hardens.2) Xylene is extremely aromatic. If you don't have a place to work that is covered and well ventilated, this is not the product for you. I recommend natural ventilation as fans will reduce the working time which is already pretty fast. You want the product to have time to self-level to remove brush strokes. Also, as the product dries, there is a time that the finish is very sticky. You don't want fans blowing bugs or debris into the finish.3) I know that no finish can stand up to continuous sun and weather for years and years. I can't tell you how long the product will last in the long term, but I am 100% sure that it is better than paint, poly, or anything else I could find. I have had it in the SC weather for a couple of months now and it looks just like it did when I applied the finish. The manufacturer says it has UV resistance, so only time will tell.4) Lastly, a small point. Due to the viscosity, I recommend applying with a brush and letting it self-level. However, it gets very tacky pretty quickly. Spend the money and use only high quality brushes. The stickiness of the drying product will pull the bristles out of lower quality brushes and they will end up embedded in the finish.Good Luck!

Renewed my Garage Door!
This stuff is expensive but provided amazing results for my garage door! As you can see from my photos, this is the result after "one" coat on my 10 year old West facing garage door in a desert climate - It looks brand new now. Don't go cheap on the paint brush - You MUST use a QUALITY paint brush. This stuff dries very fast so work one section at a time in the early morning or late afternoon. I purchased a 32oz can and it was more than enough for two coats on my garage. A little goes a long way. I even had some extra to restore my cast aluminum bench. One major drawback - I noticed severe water spots after coating my cast aluminum bench - the water spots will not go away. I'm afraid I will strip off the original finish on my bench if I try to remove the Everbrite. I asked the manufacturer for guidance and I'm still waiting for a response.

My doors look brand new!
My garage doors are 15 yrs old. This product has brought them back to life. Very easy application with a sponge. I did 2 coats. On the picture, the middle door hasnt been done, just to show difference. I highly recommend Everbrite.

Looks like it will do the trick
I bought this product after a lot of research. I chatted and called the company 4 times before I bought, and talked with the reps, who were very knowledgeable.I have a powder coated aluminum deck, that is 650 sq ft and surrounded by trees. Its 4 yrs old and is a light beige color. The first spring , I washed it with scrub brush, it was difficult. Second & third yrs, I power washed. But each year, it was getting dirtier faster. I was probably wearing off the powder coating.I called the company ( Wahoo decks) and asked them to advise me on maintenance and a coating to keep it clean. ..they were no help. (This deck cost more than Trex)I called the company ( Hydro Coatings ) who did their powder coating. ... they were worse, I didn't get past the receptionist. So I ordered the Everbrite. There was a little bit of a mix up when I first ordered, because I said I wanted Satin finish. They held up the order coz satin cost more, I didn't know that. Its not in the Amazon ad.I called them, and their customer service person was friendly and accommodating. I ended up just getting standard Everbrite.I had to do the deck half at a time. I power washed, dried, coated. I used a "water wiz " applicator pad. You have to change the pads often. It was a little hard to get the product coated evenly, so some spots are shinnier than others. In directions, they say that if you miss a spot, wait till dry, and go over it. I did that, so, many different spots of gloss. .. but the important thing to me, was protection.I bought a gallon, which covered about 600 sq ft, so i had to buy another 32 oz can, but i had enough to put second coat on traffic areas. So far, I am very impressed. The pictures show how water beads up on the treated side .In conclusion, so far so good. I will update this review in the fall when the leaves drop. Hopefully, Everbrite will keep them from staining.Added June3: I noticed that the deck furniture legs are not leaving black marks on the deck. Rained yesterday, water totally beaded. ..deck looks good.
