For everyone who wants to feel like Cardinal Wolseley (Wolf Hall, now on Amazon,com Prime), or perhaps want to simply have a suitable chain for a pectoral cross, this is the answer. The gold chain is thick, and I have used baby whips with lotion to clean it and there is no discoloration or removal of the golden plating/leaf. The gold doesn't look cheap, and will compliment any one who out of devotion to Christ wants a pectoral cross or for reenactment plays, or Renaissance Faires.
