Hand painted silk Habotai silk. This scarf is perfect as a pony tail scarf or as a neck scarf for a S or XS size, or as a scarf for a girl. It can also be used as a headband. This small neck scarf is 9.5" x 32. It is machine hemmed with a stitch that creates a soft wave around the edge. Corners are rounded. -------- The natural silk Habotai is painted in layers of dyes with different drying times between layers. I have developed this unique technique over the years. I concoct all my silk dyes and they are permanent. Each one of my signed silk creations, is shipped in a basic presentation box, ready for gift giving. I always add a signed "Cerificate of Authenticity" which includes ironing and cleaning instructions. My unique silk artwork is to be dry-cleaned only.
