It looks very good for crafts, but I see that charging over $30 For just one of them an act of price gouging. The reason why ordered this in the first place is because at first I thought There is a pack of them, instead of just one.

Could have been glued better

This was purchased for use as a rolling pin. It is finished beautifully with no sanding needed aside from the end where I shortened it. It us oak and therefore well balanced and a good weight. Excellent product; I will order another in the 2” size to use as an alternate.

It's not a solid piece of wood, but rather 3 pieces sandwiched together and turned on a lathe. The ends where the glue joints meet are a little messy and chowdered, so I'm not looking forward to seeing what it looks like on the inside when I get it cut down. I brought this to use as internal bracing for an enclosure, so the look is irrelevant to me, however these are all things to note if you're using this as stock for any decorative pieces.Also the order stood in limbo for about 3 weeks until it finally shipped, so order ahead of time.

The media could not be loaded. What you receive is NOT what is pictured. These dowels are not one solid piece, but instead are engineered/glued together.If I was painting over it wouldn’t be an issue. But what I’m custom building will be stained and this is unacceptable.Disappointed.

This was shipped is a large box and wrapped really well. The wood is super smooth. I did no extra sanding except where I cut the wood. The wood is dense but soft enough to work with. Not sure what type of wood it is but it stains/dyes really well. Will be buying in the future!

Bought a mini lathe. Thanks for the practice!

Dowels are overall good quality but we cut them and find pockets where there are holes in the wood. We can fix these with a little wood filler
