The Engine Company

I've been reading reviews on here about this book and I have to tell you I don't agree at all. The book is very straight forward about all aspects of engine company ops. It is not going to be extremely specific in terms of SOPS or SOGS because every department has their own way of serving the area that they cover. I can say that it is written and edited well and takes you deeper into Engine work and why it is one of the most important if not the most important unit on any fire scene. Good read for any firemen who loves all aspects of the fire service.

This is a great book for someone just trying to get into the fire service or someone who has no background knowledge. If you have a fire 1 certification don't even bother with this book.

Book would be good for a new firefighter, not for a seasoned guy. The best part of the book are the scenarios in the back. Was a little disappointed, especially after reading the 5 star verified reviews before purchasing it.

Good introductory book if you are a novice, just learning the fire service.

Great book, good read and has plenty of lessons you can implement while teaching your dept. Book was in mint condition and shipped quick, will buy from seller again.
