Replacement for my Hoover DXOA69LW3 carbon brushes. This model was not listed but I took a chance and it worked. The good thing about carbon brushes is that you can just replace the carbon and metal sleeve it's in if the housing isn't the perfect fit, but these were just right.Cheap enough to "give it a try" - it was either try new brushes, or a new motor - these are 13x cheaper then the motor!!Good quality, direct fit replacement that arrived next day

Washing machine broke down and decided to change the brushes. Having looked at original hoover brushes at £55 decided to buy these (brushes are brushes) exact fit and machine working. Well worth trying if machine has stopped working and a very cheap and easy fix.

Works for Candy Grand Vita that has this type of motor.I’d highly advise when fitting checking the carbon sits flat against the commutator, check fitment is flush with no gaps, get a file and just gently file the angle if needed till it is. If you don’t do this then it’s going to spark and stink for a long time till it’s bedded in. I’d advise running only a 400 spin for a good few runs too until the bed themselves in. Just my opinion.As others have said quality is not up to originals but acceptable for price. For mine again as others have stated the spade connectors had to be bent 90 degrees to fit as they aren’t an exact match for the original part for this washer. Not an issue just be gentle when bending them.Overall happy to get washer up and running cheaply again. But I did have to remove and file them back after initial fitment to get them running well.

I bought these carbon brushes because the drum on my Candy Grand Vita washing machine stopped turning during washing. As these were cheaper than a new machine (or motor) I thought it was worth a try. Really glad I did! These fit my machine (model GV169TW3W/1-80) perfectly, looked almost identical to the brushes I took off, and were really easy to fit - just took the back off the machine, took off the belt, unscrewed the 2 motor mounting bolts and did a straight swap for the old ones. Whole thing took less than 20 mins and machine works perfectly again. Next day prime delivery too! Highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded. Considering I'm in a plaster cast with a broken wrist, this was a super easy job (with minimal tools required). Unplug first! Pop the back off the washing machine, undo 4 small screws holding x2 carbon brushes in place. Install new brushes, put back 4 screws. Replace back panel, turn on electricity and away you go. Good as new. All for £10 instead of new £300-£400 machine.

Bought these to replace the worn out bushes on my Candy GVS169DC3 Grand'o Vita washing machine with an E08 error - no motor movement. The originals were 4.5 years old. These arrived within 18 hours of order, fitted straight in and work well. Unlike others, these are pre-profiled with a curve on each so that they avoid just touching at the corners when new. The lugs needed bending 90deg, easy. Tip: rather than immediately snapping off the pip that holds the brush down when supplied, bolt them to the motor then remove the pip and let the spring do its work.

I first bought a set of these 7 months ago and they lasted about 5 months. I wrote quite a supportive review at that time because they were cheap and had worked and I just thought that perhaps we had used our machine a lot. So then I bought another 2 pairs so I could keep one set as a spare.So we replaced them and the machine worked but was noisy - and on fitting we noted that one of the brushes springs was very weak... but the machine worked.Then 2 weeks later the machine failed and on removal we could see that the weak spring was the issue. So we now replaced again with the spare set we had bought. These lasted about another 2 weeks - on removal we could see that one of the brushes had got stuck. The plastic casing also showed signs of over-heating with melting evident.We replaced with an original part from the brand - much more expensive but on comparing the products alongside each other you could really see the quality difference. The brand supplied part is now fitted and the machine is also running much quieter.All in all I am sorry to say that I would avoid this product - just fork out the extra and buy an original part.
