Neso Tents Gigante Beach Tent, 8ft Tall, 11 x 11ft, Biggest Portable Beach Shade, UPF 50+ Sun Protection, Reinforced Corners and Cooler Pocket

This is an amazing, and HUGE, tent to use at the beach, even in extremely high winds! We wanted to give this a try, since the majority of windy days we have to take down our EZup 10x10 tent, or risk it getting bent or ruined in the wind. And the NESO 11x11 tent was a huge success!I had my doubts about it withstanding the winds, so I read tons of reviews and watched YouTube videos to see if it was worth the risk. What I learned (and can now confirm) is that it CAN handle the wind with these extra steps.- Use 4 poles -- It is much more stable in wind with four poles ... so order that extra set of poles. We tried it with only two poles and it worked, but you had to continually adjust them to keep it taught. And if the wind switched direction suddenly or changed its intensity, it would cause the poles to fall.- COMPLETELY fill the sand bags -- When you think you have stuffed the sandbags with enough sand, stuff them some more. They will keep stretching. We also dug a shallow hole to put each of them in, so they couldn't slide or be pulled when a big gust blew.- Pull tent corners tight -- The tighter you pull the tent, the sturdier it will be. I really thought it would rip on some days, due to us having it stretched so hard in pre-hurricane winds; but it held strong the entire week.I cannot stress enough how intense the winds were while having this tent up, and it held up great. While no one else on the beach could put up beach umbrellas or the typical pop-up tents/canopies, we had our 11x11 Neso tent up and shading the family.One thing to note, it does not keep the rain off. We learned this during a brief rain shower while under it. It sort of "sifts" the rain, making it feel more like a mist; but it definitely should be noted that the rain comes through. So don't think your belongings under it will be kept dry.I HIGHLY recommend the Neso Gigante 11x11 beach tent!

I am the happy owner of both Neso 7x7 and 9x9 tents. I thought that I need a little more space so I purchased the 11x11, which I thought would be perfect. Well it turns out that the 11x11 tent suface area is too much stress for the supplied tent poles. The poles that are supllied with this tent are taller, not and stronger than the tent poles that came with my other tents. In the end, I had to return this tent, which was rather painless. If Neso improves this issue I will definitely purchase again, as it seem to be the perfect size for my family.

Did great at HH this weekend. I purchased 2 and set them up in tandem for memorial day weekend at the beach in HH. Setup is fast and easy. Stays put and provides great shade. 10x easier to pack and carry and beats watching everyone chase their umbrellas and canopies accross the beach!One down side for us; a strong gust of wind from the wrong direction ended up snapping one our poles. Absolutely suggest buying extras. 15 bucks for a new pole is still a drop in the bucket for the convenience though. I'll buy two just in case.

Easy to setup. Lightweight. Lots of shade. First setup my husband didn't watch any videos and it went up without a hitch. We used the kids sand shovel and I think we'll purchase the collapsible shovel for future trips.Handled some really strong winds. Bought the extra set of poles since it's the Gigante. My husband used them 2 in each front corner bracing at different angles and that was ingenious. Buried the sand bags to give it more stability. Stayed strong! Now the rest of my family wants to order one too.

OMG! I'm actually sitting at Honeymoon beach in FL under the Neso Gigante and it is AMAZING! It took me less than 5 minutes to set up and the amount of shade underneath is awesome. I have a 12x12 mat underneath and all of it is under shade. My little baby is sleeping with the breeze blowing instead of in one of those tents that keeps the heat in. I bought the extra poles and haven't used them yet. Customer service was quick to reply to all my emails and very helpful as well. Thanks Neso. It's going to be a great summer! Get one of those compact shovels that fold and I put about 2 large scoops into the bag and dumped the bag into the hole. Then bury everything.1. Bring a long shovel2. Move the sand bag to the middle of the black rope and tie it off at that point.3. Dig a big hole and put a mound of sand on top.4. Best canopy ever.Update August 1st 2019After tweaking

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Awesome tent, the best I ever had. So tired to carry heavy Academy tents on the soft sand, this is great!! Just a fraction of the weight I used to carry, better shadow area, and easy to pull up and down. It came with 2 poles, but I made the trick with another 2 I made from expansible painting poles and 2 tennis balls. I love this tent, also, it is an aye catcher. Thanks Neso, good job.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  1 week at beach and this performed perfect!! In heavy wind as I watched other tents blow down the beach this bad boy stood up. Very easy setup for one or two, time is dependent on how fast you move. Hardest part is filling up sandbags. One sandbag did develop 3 small holes. Will contact customer service and see what happens. All around great tent, highly recommend!!

We thought we were going to LOVE this beach tent after our first set up on the beach. It was so easy to transport to the beach, set up was simple and something my husband was able to manage as a single operator. I created the shade we expected for an 11 ft tent. I had purchased 2 extra set of poles to help with stability and make it more open. BUT THEN, the wind began to pick up in the afternoon, as it usually will at the beach and the tent COLLAPSED!!! And we continued to have the same problem every single day on the beach. It worked like a charm until the wind blew and then, wobbled like leaf in the rain until it COLLAPSED!! Unfortunately, I wish I had stuck with my big heavy duty canopy that I was dreading lugging down to the beach

Difficult review, the concept is fantastic and given a scenario with slight breezes they are brilliant and ideal to give shade without feeling enclosed.Setting up can be tedious but worth getting right, lots of sand in each bag and we dug holes to drop the bags into then added more sand on top, this worked mostly perfectly, we also ensured the material was stretched fully.Now the negatives, both poles snapped or bent on the second windy day, they are ridiculously fragile for their intended use, they were installed as per instructions and braced into the wind but gusts literally started to bend them before finally snapping, useless design, Fuerteventura is windy but these weren't exactly gale force.Luckily we went to a DIY store and purchased two steel poles and stuck tennis balls on top which gave us a better solution that withstood the winds and saved our holiday! (photo)The material stitching was also unravelling after a few days.Outcome is perfect for beaches without wind or slightly windy, rubbish if you are going somewhere actually windy! I know a previous review suggested if it can't cope with wind you've set it up incorrectly, that's rubbish, this was set up exactly as suggested, it's just the poor quality of the telescopic poles, they aren't strong enough!

Six stars for this excellent product. We bought the Gigante version together with two extra poles. The expectations have been definitely exceeded! Extremely easy to assemble and stable once in place. Not to mention that is even easier to disassemble and put it back into its backpack.It is advised to make a hole to bury each bag of sand. This makes the tent sturdier and even more beautiful.

Absolutely perfect. We used this to cover our little kid pool and it worked wonderful. Also, we didn't fill the pockets with sand or rocks but used tent pegs to secure the 4 corners in harder ground and sand and it worked perfect. Our first camping trip with it we were away from camp and a wind storm had come up and I for sure thought that the wind would have knocked it down, but it was still standing! Awesome! I love the idea that this shade is open on all four sides and that it lets the air flow through rather then a stuffy pop up sun shade. This take less then 5 minutes to set up, it's easy to back and throw in with the rest of your summer gear. This is a great investment and will be used a lot. The only kind of downfall with the Grande is that it does take a bit of room when it's set up because the strings that tie it down are long. Best to get it set up early before the beach gets busy because you might not have enough room. Overall, I definitely recommend this sun shade. I've had many inquiries and compliments on it.

Que gran sorpresa para mi cumpleaños 43 , Neso ! En lugar de mi tienda de playa gigante, me mandan un tapete de plástico, horrible para niños. Además como ingeniero industrial, les comento ese tapete no cumple con ningún sello de control de USA o Europa, espero que sus bebes no lo usen, además de ser inflamable por el tipo de plástico.Compraré otra tienda ya veremos si Nnija ya me da igual cual sea.Me llegó de Coleman una tela de reemplazo nueva para una tienda que tenía previamente. Gracias a Coleman podré disfrutar de la playa este fin de semana. Gracias Coleman, que se pudra Neso !

Zelt Qualität ist top(Stoff und Stangen).Bei Wind muss man voll spannen und mega viel Gewicht in die Säcke laden, dann geht's.Hatten das die ersten paar Mal nicht gemacht, da klappt es dann sofort zusammen.Einen Punkt Abzug gibt's für die Tasche, reißt leider an den Nähten auf, wäre aber robust ausgeführt. Werde sie umtauschen oder nähen...
