This is a nice piece for the price. It is of a sturdy material. It has an attractive finish. The assembly instructions were clear. The packaging of the parts are well marked. Plan on taking your time with assembly. It will take multiple hours to completion. Ensure your frame is square before attaching to the wall and utilize the legs to help in this process. It will make all the difference in the final product. We had one issue. Note the metal frame picture for clarification. The holes were not parallel along the center length of the metal, so the holes on the wood did not line up with the holes in the wood underneath on one side. This is most likely a manufacturing error. Either the bar was flipped the wrong way when hole placement occurred, or when welded to the Y. This frustration added time to the assembly process. I wouldn't think this would be a regular occurrence. The final product is very sturdy and it appears it will last years of guest usage.I would buy one again if needed.

What I mean is: you will need time to assemble, and check order as soon as it arrives for all parts and any damage. We hired someone to assemble and install, almost every product we looked at used particle board in lu of solid wood. We are pleased with the quality, look, and hardware. the end product looks good and works well. Recommend this product. Couple other things, pre measure your space, know you need 10" mattress which is different then most. We had slight issue and it was addressed immediately.

Arrived sooner than anticipated. Shipment comes in 3 separate boxes. It is plenty heavy but packaged well and secure. Had to use a dolly to get it up to my apartment. The assembly was straight forward but with all the moving pieces and countless screws, it took me about 5-6 hrs and I knew what I was doing.The quality is what you’d expect at this price range but I am impressed on the fitment. The finish is pretty good but there are peeling edges on some pieces, though it did not bother me. There are 4 shock absorbers that assist with opening and closing. Each mattress wood slat is also securely fastened to the frame so you don’t have to worry about the mattress sinking.Overall, it’s a Murphy bed that is affordable and does the job. My 10” queen mattress fits perfectly and I’m a satisfied customer.

It’s beautify, please don’t get me wrong! However, imagine waking up in the middle of the night and getting hit by a Pierce of wood coming from above you and hearing small cracking noises at the same time.Yes, this product feels a bit dangerous to say the least. The Pre drilled hole and assembly is very weak and looked defective to me but it may as well be part of the design. It goes without saying that the material is compressed wood not wood (as described on the product info). The way the assembly holds the frame up and the fact that it’s already coming apart after a few weeks raises hugh concerns for safety. I have now contacted the seller, hoping they can replace the parts that are defective for working ones. However, Putting it together is not an easy task either. If you can imaging having to rebuild is not easy task. Fair warning, if you see something that doesn’t look right to you, save yourself the trouble and call up the company.Total build time was approx 5-6 hours.I’m sure if the provide the pieces it will be a hard job again taking it apart and re assembling it back together. This is what is making it some what stressful to think about.Update: on month has passed and the seller is still to resolve the defective part issue. Very very disappointed with this. I am now trying to get a full refund on this item.

The delivery of this bed didn't arrive when scheduled. I emailed the company through Amazon & they contacted me right away. When it arrived, the boxes were damaged & we refused it. The company called that day to see if it had arrived & I explained what happened. They then scheduled with a different shipper & we had to wait 2 more weeks. But it arrived without a hitch. The bed was easy to assemble & is exactly as shown. And the company was very accomodating.

We love this Murphy bed. It works perfect in our Kaseeta. My husband and I assembled it and it wasn’t too bad if you follow the directions step-by-step. However it had a lot of missing hardware so we had to add lib on some of the assembly. It was very upsetting at the time

Given the reviews I read I expected this to take a whole day to put together on my own. It ended up taking me about 5 hours while constantly being interrupted by my kids. So I could have probably done it in 3-4 hours.Having another person with you would make it faster and simpler at points, but if you are installing a hide away full sized bed - you might be on your own :) If you can easily lift ~120lbs or so and "scoot" more than that- it can be done by yourself without much trouble.Instructions are great and easy to follow. Packaging was great too. Very impressed with the product and engineering, especially for the price.

This Murphy bed was a great purchase! We bought it for our office for when we have extra guests. It took two of us about 3-4 hours to put together and install it. We watched a YouTube video along with the paper instructions and did just fine. It fits our 10 in mattress and it’s easy to put up and down. The mattress straps could fit better but we love it!

Good looks, solid, not too hard to assemble when you read the instructions carefully.

4 delivers to get the parts taking more than 2 months. Bottom panel design is horrendous and has failed. I am no longer dealing with this BS garbage company. I will have to engineer my own solution. Lost 3k in lost revenue, excess labour time by professional installer. Looking into legal action.

This thing seems pretty sturdy once fully & properly assembled. Took maybe ~4 hours total as others have mentioned, and the instructions are pretty straightforward. It's possible to assemble it solo, which I did for the most part, but some of the steps are easier if you have a helper. What you absolutely need help for is carrying the boxes it comes in: one of them I carried upstairs by myself without too much trouble, the second one I also managed on my own with a bit more of a struggle, but the third and largest/heaviest one was simply impossible to carry solo. Looks pretty decent assembled but you have to be careful with the wood because it's particle board—looking closely there's already minor damage to the edges & finish in various spots but it's not too noticeable. My ~8" thick double mattress fits in it fine. Overall it's a really convenient space-saving piece and I hope it lasts. Can't give mine 5 stars though because it was missing 10 of the 22 cam lock connectors it's supposed to come with, so I had to purchase more at the hardware store for an extra ~$20 + tax.

Once you have installed cylinders, and before installing front panels, measure, it's mandatory, measure over your head the gap between the upper edge of the metal frame with the interior side of the left and right vertical panel. It must be almost the same, around ¾ in. Doing so, you will be sure that the bed, with his panels, is well align inside the wall frame.

Husband and I put it together in about 4 hours. It looks great and was easier to assemble than we thought. Instructions are easy to follow and parts/hardware are labelled. Would definitely recommend.
