Brings Back Memories!
My family and I are starting to visit a roller rink on family skate night, so I decided to get these instead of renting some cheap, disease-ridden skates that have been used by hundreds if not thousands of people. I was an avid inline skater in the 90's when it was huge. I've had Aeroblades, Macroblades and Astroblades. Of the three, the Macroblades were the best quality and most comfortable, but the Twister XT beats the Macro by far. I can skate non-stop for an hour or two and my calves are not fatigued because of the incredible ankle support. They breathe really well, so it takes a bit of time and work before my calves start sweating. The wheels that come with them are buttery smooth, and I even bought these used! Furthermore, this thing is built like a tank yet lightweight. Get them!

Awesome Skates. Fit's true to Size.
Great Skates. Comfortable, and super fast with extremely high-quality shell, liner, and wheels. I changed the 243mm base for the 255mm for a little bit more stability, though I wished it was even bigger (260mm+). Will be testing with the full profile Under Cover wheels.

New version is so much more comfortable.
The previous version of this skate was very narrow. I had quite a bit of pain even sizing up one full size. For the XT they were able to rework the shape to make it more comfortable for more people and it has been a world of difference. I love the skate. My only feedback for rollerblade would be to offer a 4x90mm option for the bigger feet sizes. The frame starts to feel a little short if you’re a size 10 or more. All the parts are really well made though. Really solid.

Good inline skates
Booties: the manufacturer's specified size corresponds to the actual one, suitable for wide feet.Wheels: bearings are smooth (fast), with minimal noise during fast rides; the rubber is grippy, moderately stiff, and doesn't wear out quickly. After 2 months of use, I can say that skating on them brings joy and pleasure; at first, I fell often because I'm a beginner, but the sturdy shell coped excellently with impacts and friction against asphalt, overall, I don't regret buying them. What I didn't like: the bearing on the front wheel of the left roller was installed incorrectly, causing the wheel to stop spinning after 2 rides, and I had to replace the bearing.

Neoprene toe box is a life saver if your in between sizes.
The media could not be loaded. First off I tried lightning 110s and thought I loved everything about it. I was getting some pretty bad blistering on inside foot. I started with Zetrablade size 9 and had extra room so I opted for the 8-8.5 Lightnings. After a week or so I could not handle the pain and discomfort. You want a tight fitting skate over a loose one. Especially in the beginning as it packs out and loosens over 8-12 hours. I know they aren’t supposed to be shoe comfortable, but this I felt crossed the lined and Amazon helped me out with a return. They were ok during indoor carpet test fitting, so unfortunately they had been used after me.Now comes a few weeks of intense google and YouTube research for the next model to try. I wanted to stick with rollerblade since I was getting used to their sizing in general. I debated a few of their models and finally decided to risk these Twister XTs in the 8-8.5 (which is was also in between 8 and 9s. They were usually known to be very aggressive fitting, so I was doubtful. But those who they worked for, loved them. When I Received the twisters I took the liner out and did the 1-1.5 finger to heel test to check boot size. It was perfect. So I put the liner back in and was nervous as I slid my foot into the front, waiting for the dreaded toe smash like in the prior lightnings. To my surprise the neoprene toe box felt perfect. The first day I had these I did 10 miles, and got a minor blister. Had they been my lightnings I would probably had to call a ride home. Usually you don’t want to break in skates that much first handful of times, but I loved them. I’ve had them a week and probably put on 60 miles-ish. I am combatting blisters, but I can tell these are from technique and sock choice. Also they aren’t officially broke in.Unfortunately there isn’t an easy way to find skates that fit you of you don’t have a local shop (which I don’t). Thanks to Amazon for helping me out with the return. I felt bad using the skates beforehand, but I did express to them clearly that they were visibly used, so I’m sure they are on the used sellers list now.

cant put on
It is impossible to put it on. And to release the straps that go around your ankle, you have to literally push it out from the outside (after tightening it, even when you lift it up to release the straps, it just stays on, and does not get released). Not only it is narrow, its functions don't work and makes me doubt if this is really even worth 350 dollars (imo it's not even close). It needs to be obviously wide and easy to put on, and then the adjustable straps should be designed to easily tighten and to release. But no, my feet aren't even going in, and adjusting the straps are beyond headache.

Awesome skates!
Money well spent. An actual full plastic boot with plenty of ankle support. Little to no fatigue after over a 20 mile skating session. I'll be ordering another pair for my daughter. Very impressed with the aluminum frame for the wheels. Very impressed with the looks and very impressed with the comfort. Buy a pair and you won't be disappointed.
