These gel pills may look intimidating at first because they are large, but rest assured, they do go down easily. They smell pleasant and even if you did not take it down with enough water, the “burp” aftertaste is pleasant - unlike most vitamins with chalky aftertaste. In addition, the DHA is plant not fish based, so no fishy aftertaste either. My tip is to take it at night or shortly after dinner to prevent nausea. I never had any issues with nausea with these pills but it’s always good to be on the safe side. Take it with plenty of water to ensure it goes all the way down. I tried basically all of the prescription prenatal vitamins that are available, and although there are a few out there that are better than this one, I’d still choose this because for the price, nothing beats it.

I’ve been using this product for nine months of pregnancy and for several months before conceiving. Many other vitamin brands give me nausea, but I’ve been successfully using the Nature’s Way Alive Women’s Multivitamin for many years, and I haven’t had any problems with their Prenatal either.The flavor is subtle and not bad, and the texture is smooth and easy to swallow. Also, it is one of the lower priced prenatal vitamins I’ve seen available. Most importantly, it includes DHA and uses natural plant-based sources for DHA to avoid the risk of getting mercury from fish oil while pregnant. I’ve researched the amounts of all the vitamins and minerals needed during pregnancy, and this vitamin includes the right amounts of everything.

This prenatal tablet worked pretty well for me, it swallowed down well without any nausea or upset feelings. I am taking it in the night time and I was able to sleep well as well. No issues of any iron deficiency or requirement of any additional vitamin tablets for my pregnancy. And yeah its vegan which was the top most requirement for me. Its a bit costlier than other brands but the best vegan tablet I was able to find.

The only reason this does not have five stars is because the pills are huge.. Where do I start to keep your attention.. I’m five months pregnant and I’ve not been able to take any type of prenatals because they’ve made me extremely nauseous.. It didn’t matter if I took it with food, if I took it in the morning, if I took it before bed nothing mattered. I still got really sick so I stopped taking them. The past few weeks or so my hair has been falling out and I noticed on my blood work at the doctors office I was low on a few things which I won’t pretend to know what is what.. I thought with my hair falling out I need to try to do something maybe there’s something my body is missing? I researched and found these and this is only my third day of taking them and I absolutely cannot believe how different I feel. I would almost swear the baby has moved more as well. Since I got pregnant I have been horribly depressed about being a mom and making some decisions I wished I hadn’t & I cry myself to sleep almost every night.. Here’s what sounds crazy.. BUT in three days it’s like my balance in my brain is back to what it was and I have energy. I cannot believe the cloud that has lifted! I don’t know what in particular in this prenatal is doing it but I will not be without it now.. it has not one time made me sick either ?! I wonder if there’s going to be a crash with it or to the point where it doesn’t do anything for me anymore but realistically we take these for the babies. I have often fought with myself since I’ve got pregnant if prenatals are necessary or just a gimmick but feeling the baby move more and me feeling the way I do there’s something going right here.

My doctor recommended I take a multivitamin with a high iron count due to my anemia. This one had the highest iron count that didn't bother my stomach. I'm a 75 year old vegetarian but I don't give a hoot about the gelatin capsules; I just eat vegetarian to control my cholesterol and weight. The strawberry flavor is quite mild but keeps them from smelling bad like most vitamins. It's quite pleasant, actually!

I started taking these when I became pregnant and have continued taking them while breastfeeding (18 months total). I did a lot of research around prenatal vitamins and these contained a lot more vitamins and nutrients than most. I also discovered that most gummy prenatals do not contain iron, which is why I switched to these. I suggest taking these after dinner, or they will make you very nauseous on an empty stomach. I have no side effects if I take them after dinner.

Unfortunately, these made me EXTREMELY nauseous every day (I'm not pregnant btw) no matter what I ate or how much water I drank. I would usually take my vitamin after eating breakfast and by late morning/lunch time, I felt the need to vomit out of no where🤢 Some days, I would actually throw up. As soon as I stopping taking it, my need to vomit dissappeared. I'm sure it's a good vitamin, but out of all the prenatals I've taken, I've never felt the need to vomit on a daily basis.Besides this, it was nice to only take a single capsule daily. The pills are easy to swallow and the minor flavor of strawberry was pleasant.
