Hey - I figured out “Induction Mode”
Well made, bright light, rechargeable batteries seem to last. Great light for the price. A little heavy but acceptable trade off for quality, features, and price.Other reviews wondered what the two small led-looking things are above the flashlight lens, and what the heck “Induction Mode” is. Well, I figured it out. The normal modes - bright, medium, and flashing - are switched with quick presses of the “on” button. But press and hold the on button for about three seconds, and the normally-red light on the back of the battery pack turns blue. Now, waving your hand about 12 inches in front of the light turns it on or off. Also, come out of the dark and into a well-lit room and the light shuts off. Turns out those led-looking things are motion and light sensors. Kinda neat, and I’ll try it next time I use it, but I bet it will get annoying turning itself on and off every time something comes near my face while doing close work. So a dubious function, perhaps. And why the heck do they call it “induction mode”?But no matter - it’s a good, bright, reliable light. Especially for the price. Highly recommend.

O-K for taking the dog for a walk. Not for hiking or inclimate weather.
Pros; throws a nice beam that's adjustable. Alleged five hour battery life from 2200 mah batts on low. Haven't run them out yet. Only been on a few walks with it so far, each time less than an hour.Head band stretches and fits over ski cap and is comfortable.Cons;Slotted band clips are bendy plastic and four out of five times when putting it on, the straps slip out. The clips appear to be a child's toy-type plastic that probably won't last long. I need to tape-up the slots.Battery box is "not" waterproof. Nor does the headlight case appear to be. I personally would not wear this even in light rain or drizzle - ie; not for hiking or under heavy use. Conclusion; probably o-k for kids as a present. O-K for dog walks, (that what I'm using mine for),. Upgrading to reasonable batteries cost as much as the unit or more itself. Probably not worth it. Would I buy again? I think I'll go with a more robust design next time. Something with metal construction. Even if only for dog walks. Cheers. 👍

Great design, a great value - could be better at no cost
I got this for two reasons - to work in the crawl space under my house, and to see the details better on my wood lathe.I really like the rechargability. The light is more than bright enough for my work. I appreciate the ability to go super bright or normal bright. I appreciate the ability to adjust the light up and down and to focus or to go broad - these are really good design features that serve both of my functions well. I have not figured out what the injunction function is or how it works, but I don't need it, I don't think. I note the red light on the back which would be suitable when walking or riding a bike. I have not tested how waterproof it is. I'm guessing water resistant in rain. So, five stars, yet it could be yet better at no cost. The headband is too tight. I have a normal western size head yet the headband, after all the adjustments, is just too tight. Just one more inch in the headband would add so much. I may cut it and splice in a bit of webbing from a lawn chair or belt.

Great headlight.
I had one of these before, so I knew it was good. It uses batteries that are larger than AA. I have a NITECOR charger that charges that size of battery. The batteries come out very easily. The headlight comes with a small usb cord that will hook up to a computer so it can be charged that way. Before I realized that I had a charger that would do that size of battery, I used a regular cell phone charger and that seemed to work OK. The light is super bright and has three settings. One thing I really like about it is that the button to turn it on and off is large. That is one thing that irritates me a lot with other headlights. They have tiny little buttons that are hard to find in the dark. This headlight seems to last a long time which is probably due to the bigger batteries. This is the best headlight I have ever had, so I would recommend it to anyone.

Decent but some issues
The light is nice and bright And overall I think this is a decent product .The only thing I don't like is the bulky battery compartment that sits at the back of the strap and the charge indicator light. I've purchased at least four of these and they all seem to have the same issue. The charge indicator light is supposed to go green for fully charged and red when charging. On all of the items that I've purchased, the color indication seems to be kind of all over the place. The light will go from red to green and then back to red again. I basically just leave it charging and at some point it will get to a steady green.

Great headlight, elastic band failed.
I have been using this for over three years. It makes the difference when working in low light or dark situations. Still using the same batteries too.The only issue I have is that the elastic may be weak. I currently use a bunge cord to hold it to my head. Probably just plain wore out the elastic. If I can’t retrofit some other elastic way to attach it to me I would consider buying a second one.

This headlamp is a beast
I was looking for a headlamp that is brighter than the one I currently have. This one is very bright. It has three levels of light - very bright, bright, and flashing. There is no red option on this one. You have to toggle through the all the levels of light to turn it off.My other headlamp does not have a strap on top of my head which enables me to pull it down around my neck when I don’t need it at that particular moment. This headlamp does have a strap on the top of my head, and because it’s heavier due to the rechargeable batteries, that is good. I only wish it was detachable so if I wanted to hang this headlamp around my neck, I could. The strap that goes around the circumference of my head is extended as far as possible, and it’s pretty snug on my head. I don’t know the circumference of my head, but I would say I have an average head.I just got it yesterday, and used it last night. I haven’t needed to use the USB to recharge the batteries yet, but it easily fits into the ports.Overall I would say this is going to be a great headlamp and exactly what I need.
